I was struggling to read the players' names and the time from the Upper West on Saturday, though I gather from other sources that the present design is temporary?
From the clip put out by the club last week the screen is going to completely fill the gap between the AC & JS stands.
Unfortunately they reverted to capitals. The current designers don't undertand the importance of letter shapes.4 -

If it is indeed from one stand to the other, it might be as much as 5 or 6 times the area of the current screen, depending on the height of it
The screen sits in the corner between the Barclay Stand behind the goal (right of screen if watching on TV) and the South Stand (TV gantry side) i.e. in front of the Holiday Inn; when they show replays the screen is in the normal position so that the majority of the ground can see it and then the screen rotates so that the Barclay and the Thorpe Corner can see it and they replay the replay before swinging the screen back to its normal position.1 -

But why are they unable to think for themselves?1 -

Probably their other job to serving food and drink on a Saturday.

Why all the complaints?
It’s already been explained earlier in the thread.
The new screen will be massively bigger than the existing one……plus the graphics are still being worked on and will obviously pair up with the size of the new screen, as and when.
The current set up is temporary.6 -

I only partly jest. The club may well say we can get comms better in future utilising this new technology.3 -
I noticed that the screen went missing for quite a long period in the second half of the Leicester match. I suspect what happened was that when Leicester brought on Silko Thomas someone suddenly realised that they had Luke Thomas already on the pitch and that just Thomas and Thomas on the scoreboard wasn't good enough. I guess someone behind the scenes was hurriedly updating the names. Bit more attention needed up front.0

We were promised it would be up earlier than this.
I'll believe it when I see it. Hopefully at the women's match, my fears will be allayed0 -

Quite happy to communicate good news but when it comes to stuff like the Millwall issues it's radio silence.9

From the club’s social channels..2

Quite ironic they shared a picture of that staircase1

That’s the old one being dismantled0

Awful mockups, but here's what to expect

Interested to see what the flashing advertising boards will look like especially between the levels in the west (if I read it correctly)0

32:9 but with approx the same sqm of the old one is not going to improve the match day experience for much of our supporters. Let’s hope it is a truly poor render otherwise I can see complaints after the Shepherds Wednesday game…1

Who gets the remote?3

I’m sure it was said that the big screen would be curved, appreciate it’s a mock up but think we’ll see a lot more height on it with it having a curved shape to it.0
-
Rumbelows special I've heard, and that remote has a cable attached that runs to the back.1

So, basically, the screen will be big enough to fill the gap in the corner so the rest of the ground wont be able to see their fellow fans getting attacked behind it.
See, they are listening.8 -
