Difficult to call a game a "six-pointer" at this point in the season but West Ham losing at home to Forest has massive implications for them.0
-
Come on Forest, hold on2
-
This is all so funny!
West ham have a cracking goal disallowed for a very narrow VAR decision which would have put them 2-0 up. Then 3 mins from time Forest get a penalty awarded after another VAR decison.
And its poured with rain all second half.
Not too many bubbles soaring high at the moment!1 -
Takes him out, has to be a pen. West Ham all but gone if they lose this.

Did you know that this game is fixed and part of a conspiracy? I didn’t either until I went on social media, but dozens of hammers are absolutely certain of it.8

Sadiq Khan up to his evil tricks, wanting the ground back for Newham community events.Uboat said:Did you know that this game is fixed and part of a conspiracy? I didn’t either until I went on social media, but dozens of hammers are absolutely certain of it.6 -
It's going to be funny next season seeing 50,000 West ham fans locked in for 45 minutes after the final whistle when they play Millwall!10

West Ham look doomed.
What a wretched night for them!
No VAR and they go 2-0 up. No VAR later in the game and they don't concede a pen, they maybe get a 1-1. Even Forest's equaliser was corner flick-on that freakishly looped in. Anything that could go against West Ham, did.2 -
No cameras catching the fans doing the wanky crossed arms thing then4

Not bothered either way with West Ham but I thought that was a shocking performance by the ref aside from the VAR decisions which seemed correct I guess. West Ham looked doomed to be honest some poor players on their team.0

Agree. But Millwall aren't going up either. They'll meet in the Championship.CAFC_boi said:

Has to be the worst ruin club in the country, particularly taking into account the free stadium the tax payer bought for them.
Terrible recruitment, a youth academy that rarely develops anyone fit for the first team, and a constantly repeated cycle of sacking every decent manager they stumble across for not playing the West Ham way, appointing an entertainer who takes them into the relegation zone, getting Big Sam/Moyes to get them out of trouble, rinse and repeat. Their luck has run out. No way out of this, hope they get a lengthy period in the second tier.10 -
How can it not be a penalty. The keeper goes for the ball, doesn't get anywhere near it and punches the Forest player in the head instead.swords_alive said:Not a penalty for me but delighted for forest to be leading.
100% pen.6 -
That was must win for West Ham………

Must win that was for West Ham. Championship football beckons2

Karma for WHam having that 2nd one ruled out. VAR had just checked a potential penalty up the other end - it never was - but they don’t overrule the ref’s error in awarding a goal kick when it should have been Forest’s corner. I know quite a few WHam fans and they’re all resigned to being in the Championship next season.1

A reporter on BBC News tonight said that if West Ham go down, next season for every pound they have to spend on using the ground, the tax payer has to stump up £4.500

When they scored and the camera went straight to that godawful rent-a-cockney I felt certain they were going to spunk this game.DaveMehmet said:No cameras catching the fans doing the wanky crossed arms thing then
Absolutely wonderful. ☺️

I disagree. I hope they plummet to L1. Spivvy little club that survives only on a corrupt deal at the tax payers expense. Knock that stadium down, sell the land it sits on and pay them 1m a year in compensation.MrLargo said:Has to be the worst ruin club in the country, particularly taking into account the free stadium the tax payer bought for them.

Well almost as West Ham are now 7 points adrift from safety.DamoNorthStand said:That was must win for West Ham………
Unlike Charlton who are 5 points above the relegation zone with a home game v Portsmouth in hand.
West ham only have 17 games left to get out of it.
Charlton still have 23 games left, 13 of them at home.0 -
Hopefully they'll drop like a fucking stone, and Leyton Orient scrap plans to build a new stadium and move in there instead2
-
Watched the 2nd half & thought I was watching a League One match. Passing from Forest was exceptionally poor and were lucky to get all 3 points.
But do I care.....no. Would love to play W.Ham next season & to tick the Olympic Stadium off my 92.1 -
I wouldn't say it's over for West ham yet but they've certainly made it difficult for themselves. A 7 point gap when you've got 14 points all season is a lot to make up.
The problem for them is they need at least 7 wins to have a chance and only 17 games to get them, which would put them on 35 points and even that might not be enough. But where are that team getting 7 wins from?
Of the 17 games they've got Chelsea, Liverpool, Villa and Newcastle away and Man City and Arsenal at home, so it's hard to see them winning any of those. So then it's down to needing 7 wins from the other 11 games. Well and truly doomed.

I wonder if they even keep Nuno. I wouldn't trust Sullivan not to make another managerial change before the end of the season0
-
Sadly, they've got their annual trip to the generous Dr Tottenham coming up. We're playing so badly they'll likely get something.3
-
Look on the bright side, the last 3 games spurs scored 2, conceded just 1 and picked up 5 points including 3 points against Palace. If you can keep the current London Stadium tenants from scoring then there’s every chance you might sneak a win.JohnBoyUK said:Sadly, they've got their annual trip to the generous Dr Tottenham coming up. Saw that, still can’t believe nobody has been brought to book over this deal.DaveMehmet said:A reporter on BBC News tonight said that if West Ham go down, next season for every pound they have to spend on using the ground, the tax payer has to stump up £4.504 -
