Danny Hylton, who joined the Addicks as a Player-Coach in Sepember 2024, will now sign a contract to continue as part of Nathan Jones’ backroom staff.
The following players will return to their parent clubs following the expiration of their loan deals:
Alex Gilbert, Tom McIntyre.

Good luck to those leaving.
No news on the U21s other than Kedwell.6 -
As expected but good luck to Chuks especially.10

Sad for those who have been released, especially Chuks and Tennai who were on the pitch at Wembley
At least they managed to sign off on their time at Charlton in the most positive way possible.
As mentioned its not really a shock this news to be honest, and its the right decision... Good to see the mention of Small being offered a new deal, gives a bit of hope there. I actually think the U21 released list will be more surprising this summer to be honest, with the likes of Harvey Kedwell (If rumours are true) released.

Pretty expected. Thought we may have kept Watson but he’s not a starter and we’ll be looking to upgrade.1

The hardest player to get rid of will be Ahadme.
Still got 3 years left on his contract and I doubt any club above league one will be interested.
A terrible signing48 -

Ironic where we’ve had countless years we’ve been going into the summer with few players and needing a big rebuild, the year we could do with some space to bring in higher quality we’ve got a full squad already that we may now struggle to offload!14
-
I reckon 9 of the retained will be looked to move on as well.9
-
Could see Chuks and Watson training with us to keep fit and we can always evaluate if we're in need of extra bodies towards the end of the summer.
Hopefully won't come to that.2 -
No surprises, even if Small is off we needed to put the offer in to get compensation I think?

Surely Chuks will retire at this point.7

you'd think at least a couple of the youngsters will head out on loan and a couple of the others will be shipped out (Taylor for one, Asiimwe, Maynard-Brewer).1 -
I think that's twenty four pros remaining, of which ten have come through the academy system.5

I think we’ll see others sold or loaned out, and that might include more than we expect if we can bring enough new signings in.
No surprises those leaving as others said and hopefully they all find new clubs soon.
On the u21s, looking back they did a separate announcement covering those released from the u21 and u18 squads, and then a further announcement on the new u18 first years.1 -

This is the first time in years and years and years, maybe since we released Waggy, where I've felt genuinely sad about the releases. Chuks is a Charlton cult hero and Tennai didn't do anything wrong at all, just was a victim of our progress. I'm used to feeling relieved or indifferent to the releases because there's so many and they've either been not up to it or not trying but it's just a couple of first teamers this time and they were good lads. It's weird but it's a good place to be in when you're sorry about the releases27

From the remaining squad probably look to move AMB Taylor potentially Leaburn permanently and then sort loans out for Enslin Asiimwe Kanu Dixon and Ahadme1

A terrible signingHe was shit when he was fully fit and would be a very expensive squad player taking up a spot. Get rid asap - either loan or permanent and take a hit if need be. He is nowhere near good enough for The Championship.8 -
No surprises there. Small in my opinion will be a silly boy if he does not sign a new deal with us
A few more on the list currently in contract that can shipped on as well if the right prices are offered for them2 -
I can still see a couple of those on the first list being sold . Ahadme especially but obviously at a loss.0
