Spud next to me says he is a decent prospect, energetic centre mid who gets about and likes to put his foot in.

    Encouraging.

    Johnboy - any knowledge ?

Looked a decent player in the youth cup game a few years ago.

Can't really remember what type of player he was, I'm sure he played central midfield though.

Will be interesting but like Fry and Eccleston a young player with little experience, Plymouth ended his season long loan according to wiki, I'm not expecting the answer to all our problems in midfield.

Must have seen him play against us in the youth cup. Their midfield certainly dominated our but can't say I remember him in particular.

"engine-roomer" implies his more of a worker than an artist but another midfielder has been needed so good stuff.

Will have to see how he does.

Saw him in a pre season friendly for spuds against Villareal. He really stood out as one of spur's better players.

that would be down to money I guess, played at this level this season which is a positive and you have to get another option into the squad

I know I may be in the minority here but two guys that have energy and can tackle in the middle, will mean we stop the opposition earlier, meaning we get the ball back quicker and with creative players wide we will create.

Not sure about that, checking a few links on wiki they extended Conor Clifford's loan from Chelsea a few days after they sent Parrett back to Spurs.

Might have prioritised?!? (does it sound like I am clutching on to my positivity like a drowning man clasping a log?)

Reid if he can recover the form of last season and Ecclestone, for two

Hmmm, an engine roomer is not what we need, unless he's playing alongside Semedo, with Racon pushed up behind the strikers (he was easily our most creative player last Saturday, wanted the ball, made stuff happen and created 4 or 5 clear cut chances for us)

Personally, I would like to see us send Fry back, he's done ok but we don't really need him anymore, and bring in an Iwelumo style striker

Will certainly ruffle a few feathers. He'll enjoy playing in front of the Jimmy Seed stand.

Eccleston's really a striker we've pushed out wide, said himself on Twitter up front is where he wants to play.

He looks better wide though in my opinion, he can't play alongside BWP as proved by the first half against Peterborough. Can see Anyinsah and him working though. But he looks dangerous moving inside from the right

Yes, really, won two free kicks, played in BWP twice and flashed a couple across the goalmouth from the left as well, one of which Eccleston took far too long on, he was our best player that day alongside Llera. In the first half, Llera, Macca, Racon and Jenkinson were the only 4 players that wanted the ball

Agree he can't play alongside BWP. He might look better there but it seems he doesn't want to play there.

Weird. I honestly cannot remember a clear cut chance other than the one that one flying in from the right that 3 people missed.

So free kicks aren't a clear cut chance to score, and neither is Eccleston having the ball at his feet 8 yards from goal and taking too long to get a shot off?
