Despair and tears that were making me weep
Drifting through life but then it got deep
Because along came twins
Who constantly cry for their sins
And now there's no beers and no sleep !
Went to Ayia Napa
Came back to be diagnosed with Acute Myleod Leukemia 2 days later.
Had Chemotherapy whilst watching our demise
Got over it.
Moved to Newcastle for a year to join a good mate up there
Had a year of absolute carange.
Came back.
Got back with an ex partner who i'm still with today.
Got a job in the NHS
Got a season ticket again/started going to more aways.
Met the new bird on Countdown
Slept with her.
[cite]Posted By: PeteF[/cite]Missed a few things,
Mislaid my gall bladder somewhere
Travelled to Germany and Denmark on a regular basis
Lost a testicle
Nearly died at one stage due to illness
Managed to get up on stage with a band and sing
Took up cricket again
Mother died unexpectedly - still dealing with the consequences
Celebrated my Silver Wedding anniversary
50th Birthday - what a party that was!
Saw my oldest son graduate
Had 2 jobs, last one finished June 2009 - now trying to start up my own business as people who are 50+ don't get job offers
Continue to play in a fantastic rock band, despite the advancing years
Continued to be a season ticket holder and to go to the occasional away game
Bought my dream car and have enjoyed it, but probably can't afford to keep it
Haven't slept with any Charlton Lifers, but there's still time!

Got married
Had a baby boy
Moved to the mountains
Became a house-husband / baby-carer
Saw our flat burn down
Spent a month homeless, outdoors all day with average daily temperatures of -8 but got a temporary home higher up the mountain where it was -12
Realised that one month of your life can feel like one decade but also that it's a good way of losing weight
Got a flat lower down the mountain again but didn't like it
Got a job very very very high up the mountain and skidded to work and back on the ice everyday
Became a house husband / baby-carer again
Got lots of work, mostly at the same altitude
Wife pregnant again
Moved as far away from those bloody mountains as possible without moving to another country
Found a house we both like
Became a house-husband / toddler carer
Waiting to become a house-husband / baby & toddler carer and wondering if I should get a job
[quote][cite]Posted By: WestStandCookie[/cite]Can't quote but PeteF I've often wondered how good an MP3 player you get, still you could have ended up with a CD wallet!!
