  • Got engaged, changed jobs, ripped up 30 years of history in the new job, both granparents died
  • Got engaged, changed jobs, ripped up 30 years of history in the new job, both granparents died
  • The main one was changed job.

So i can now go back to:

    a) hating the enemy
    b) just be an ordinary supporter

The most significant, Dad passing. Awful, miss him every day.

The most important, 15yrs married in September & i'm a very lucky girl!

  • Left my job for my law degree, therefore moving to (not so) lovely Hull!
  • Got a lot of abuse for wearing a clothing item that I don't actually wear. Damn you Kap10.

Got a lot more abuse, but mostly thanks, for becoming Supporters' Director at totally the wrong time but at least it was interesting!

Meet lots of really good people (and Uncle) due to this site.

Saw both my mum and dad have serious hospitalisations and have to move into a home (the same one now which a small blessing)

Seen Henry Jnr fall more and more in love with Charlton despite another hospitalisation with pneumonia.

Seen a lot of good people I knew leave Charlton, often not by choice.

Celebrated my wife's 50th Birthday Party with an excellent DJ I won on Charlton Life.
  • I received some excellent personal advice

  • Got a season ticket for the NHS, observed the effects of gravity, watched my son become an Iron Man. Tried to help kids out by giving good advice instead of the money they needed.( we oldies are fond of giving good advice; it's consolation for no longer being capable of setting a bad example.)

i really do dread to think
  • Graduated, got a job, brought a flat, got spit roasted by Gumbo & Carter.
  • Got headhunted, moved house, had our 2nd child, left job to go it alone, got my eldest a season ticket and ever since we've been in decline, gave up playing football and took up golf

Basically just got old, grey, wrinkled and cynical!
  • Bought my first season ticket for 4 years.
    Left the BBC
    Helped produce another book
    Went to California
    Took up photography again
    Joined facebook, flikr, etc
Stopped being involved with junior football
    Got my gaul bladder removed
Restored my faith in the NHS.
Had to control my uncontrolled hypertension
    Went to Italy
Met up with my college class after nearly 40 years.
    Claim my first pension
    Failling to sell my house

But above all this, births, deaths, financial ups and downs..... holding Jimmy Hendrixs guitar that he burnt at the Astoria, found in a garage..... and appearing on breakfast tv talking about
this and Rory Gallaghers guitar...... which at the time I typically called the equivelent in rock and roll to the ' discovery of the shroud of Turin'....always one for the understatement me!
  • Got hitched to my lovely Wife
    Changed jobs for the better
Daughter is now attending Charlton games and loves to sing loud!lol
Watched us filter away makes me a stronger fan and keep the faith always
2 run to the beat runs
Derby away on the C.L.I.T. coach
And meeting a lot of people on here.

    Well done AFKA & Co!!!
  • had my little girl (who now has her first season tkt)
    seperated from missus
    played at the valley

love this site, cheers Dan and Lookie for all the hard work............but my main question is?

    What is Poo Club !?!?!
  • [cite]Posted By: Elthamaddick[/cite]What is Poo Club !?!?!

Lived in shrews of all places

Got made redundant, got a new job
