Nothing wrong with Morley's if you're partial to pigeon and chips.sam3110 said:

26/27 hospitality brochure (edit: found it https://us.v-cdn.net/5000498/uploads/editor/1u/vc6ictehdg40.pdf) showed huge upgrades to the lounges. Vista and 1905 becoming something totally different, which vast modernisations. The CGI pictures looked good!FAVADDICK said:What we having done this year Henry ??Dug outs being moved and made ‘fair’ in line with EFL ruling, as well as sorting out the seating around the dugout to provide staff seating.
General tart-up of concourses and ground to continue from last summer - some bigger work than others.
pitch currently being ‘relaid’ although presumably just the top layer and not to mess with the desso plastic fibres?Would love to see The AC Stand utilise the big spaces at either end of the concourse for more activations/dedicated fan areas/activities too?1 -
Wasn’t the PA system one of the things to improve?0

Building work on the Valley underway which we'll let the clubupdate you on later today but in the summer of 1936 #cafc got players Bert Turner, John Oakes and Joe Jobling to pretend they were doing the grafting.
Original press photograph donated to the museum.
The museum is open today, Friday, 11 - 2.30 Free entry in Harvey Gardens6 -

unless they've repainted everything yellow (that was black) then surely that's an old pic?

Definitely no time frame, especially as RD is still owner!Sage said:

Don't appear to be doing anything with the Lennie Lawrence Suite which is a bit of a disappointment. We got rid of the caterer last season for being crap and whilst there was an improvement, it's still the same parent company. So it's two cheeks of the same arse.
Hopefully it continues to improve - just like the football team does.
I just want regular football back1 -
The club have been asking the museum for photos to use in the LL lounge so they are thinking about it, at leastSwisdom said:Don't appear to be doing anything with the Lennie Lawrence Suite which is a bit of a disappointment. I don't know if it's possible, I am no engineer or architect or builder, but what seems like it could be a rather simple job would be to cover the concourse behind the Alan Curbishley stand. It would be cosier, and better protection from rain, and might be of benefit to the largest number rather than doing stuff in lounges.4

All you would need is some guttering and some corrugated sheets of plastic placed at an angle from the stand down to the wall, surely?jose said:I don't know if it's possible, I am no engineer or architect or builder, but what seems like it could be a rather simple job would be to cover the concourse behind the Alan Curbishley stand. When it's dry, it's very nice having the open concourse behind the Curbs, far nicer than the cramped and claustrophobic lower north and lower CE concourses for example.
What the concourse really needs is expanding back into the hill where there's plenty of space, but understandably that's not the sort of major project you'd do without owning the ground, and might be done alongside any expansion to the stand anyway.2 -
Quite clearly a whoosh that I totally missed 😅Henry Irving said:
