The thing about Crystal Palace is their laughingly described ‘stadium’. There will be no sustained success until they spend a billion or two on a decent ground. They have no foundations and will eventually fall down, they should’ve though of it in 3000BC when they were founded.

Be interesting to see where they go from this. Manning will obviously come up as an option but I don't think he left them on overly good terms.fenaddick said:We were the final nail in the coffin for Gary Rowett

Mowbray would be a smart appointment but I would be surprised if they were interested. Maybe they go for Challinor or Wellens?0

I'm sure it's the same effect as noticing cars the same as yours when you wouldn't have before, but does feel like losing to Charlton is often fatal for managers.fenaddick said:We were the final nail in the coffin for Gary Rowett

Oxford will probably go and hire Warnock and keep them up above us now.Just one last job before Retirement Neil...2

I don't know how many of the away fans it was, but Rowett was getting some abuse from the away end on Saturday.0

Not entirely sure what the Oxford owner expects. Poorly supported team that punched above their weight by staying up last year and are in touch this year.
In recent weeks they beat Ipswich and drew with Middlesbrough, and got draws away at Norwich and Blackburn. They've also had Brannagan injured for the last month. I know they're on a run of only 1 win in 10, but it's not as if they're cut adrift and are getting battered by teams. I'd have thought Rowett was the ideal manager to keep them up.10 -

I forgot he'd signed such a long contract. Was appointed a similar time to NJ if I recall.ElfsborgAddick said:1 -

Matlock Town have appointed Adam Clayton to replace Adam Clayton who had left the role 48 hours earlier.
And no, not a case of hiring two managers with the same name, Clayton has literally replaced himself.

Hopefully he'll benefit from new manager bounce in his first game in chargeDyerConsequences said:Matlock Town have appointed Adam Clayton to replace Adam Clayton who had left the role 48 hours earlier.
