Based on their strategy since the Play Off win, they would need to do a significant u turn in their thinking not to have higher prices than some people are expecting to pay2

27,000 x £20-25 = £650k gate receipts and the spin off benefits of a full stadium on tv and other sales etc etc
If they start trying to charge 35 or something for the sake of an extra £150k gate receipts they would end up shooting themselves in the foot

People might use their Christmas money to buy a ticket.
I think a percentage of receipts go to the FA, then there is the VAT, and half the money goes to Chelsea.
I think if this is a televised game, and the ticket prices are shrewd and there is the ‘prize money’ for reaching the third round, we still might clear a quarter of a million quid from the game, also know as a day’s pay for Garnacho😉0 -

I think £25 is more than reasonable and fair, fingers crossed 🤞
Hopefully TV money with a sold out ground also means more merch and food/drink sold and the hearts and minds of casual local support.3 -
I think a lot depends on when the game is played. It seems likely to be on telly. If it's a Monday night I couldn't see us selling out. Last night's crowd was pretty poor and evening games always see a drop off in attendance, Wycombe being a very happy exception.I'm not sure the home areas sell out at £40
I would love us to sell out but TV and pricing are obviously huge factors. As could be our form. If we continue to lose league games how important is a 3rd round FA Cup tie?3 -
AA jrs first away was the 1-1 with Palace when Bowyer scored a cracker. His next was the 3-0 loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup. He doesn’t remember much of either, he was only a few months old, but taking him with me, gave his mum a bit of a rest.CatAddick said:

My son for instance. Born in 2003 & probably starting taking him in 2006 or 2007. Only started taking him to away games in 2008. Seen us at Fulham & Man U in the cup but no other Prem teams. Gutted that we we finally played West Ham it was under lockdown rules.
Funnily though he is buzzing for this one. When I asked wouldn't he have preferred it at Stamford Bridge he said no because we probably wouldn't have got a ticket.0 -
