Cmon Lando.2
-
Wouldn't mind seeing it go to Abu Dhabi, for the drama... But c'mon Lando0
-
Right stay calm Lando. If it finishes like this he is 22 points clear of Max going into the last race. And 12 clear of Piastri.
he is still in the box seat.2 -
I don’t want him going anywhere near twat face in a wheel to wheel1
-
Why haven't McLaren stopped?0
-
Max will win now. Basically everyone went into the pits near enough so he has fresher tires and a pit stop out the way and will be right behind them1
-
Yeah I thought McLaren would have taken the cheap stop0
-
Gonna be a fascinating race now0
-
one thing that will happen now is Lando in traffic.0
-
Am struggling to understand the strategies with this mandatory 25 lap stop
McLaren's need to stop by Lap 25... and then again after another 25 Laps
Everyone else needs to stop by Lap 32, and then can run to the end?
(Provided no further Safety Cars of course)
If thats the case, then I don't see where the flexibility is...0 -

So everyone else just pits once and the McLarens have to pit twice? Sounds like a major fuck up, unless they think everyone else's tyres won't last...1
-
Fair play to McLaren (and Hulkenberg) for making this interesting0
-
The only thing that McLaren must be banking on now is everyone else nursing like hell to make the 25 laps, whereas they can push push push and each stint is only 18 or 19 laps, but a whole pit stop to make up is a mammoth task without another safety car1
-
Yeaaa going by Brundle's explanation, McLaren have screwed up, as they're going to get stuck in traffic0
-
Lando bailed out somewhat by a great stop there3
-
phew (for Lando coming out before Alonso)0
-
Sigh... What da f**k was that from Haas... Just ruined their chances of P10 with Bearman0
-
So lets do the maths.... based on the expected 1. Max, 2. Oscar, 3. Lando finishing order.
Lando will be 19 clear of Oscar. And 15 clear of Max.
Basically he needs to come 4th to be world champion.
And thats if Max wins. If Oscar wins he can come 6th.
That is totally doable on a safe and conservative strategy.2 -
Norris has been f**ked here today... Going to be good to see Sainz on the podium though0
-
Hasn’t helped himself though, been much slower than PiastriForeverAddickted said:Norris has been f**ked here today... Going to be good to see Sainz on the podium though1 -

Abu Dhabi is going to gift Verstappen another title at this rate2
-
Have a feeling Norris won’t get Kimi here2
-
Yep - Max's title. P3 would have been fine for Lando. Not P50
-
Although imagine this... Max is winning, Oscar 2nd, Lando 3rd..... will Oscar move out the way to give Lando the title.0
-
Still cannot get my head around what McLaren were thinking by not pitting on lap 7 when everyone else did Literally just gifted the race to Verstappen, who now wouldn't surprise me at all by winning the title in Abu Dhabi. Monumental fuck up.

McLaren starting to look like they will fuck this championship up in a fashion that even Ferrari would be embarrassed by.1
-
Phew... Thanks Kimi1
-
Second bit of luck for Norris there0
-
Haha... Love the whinge from GP there if Kimi did just let Norris through
F**k off Red Bull - Although if it was deliberate from Kimi to move aside, why didnt he do it sooner, so Norris could go and challenge Sainz?1 -
That last lap overtake could be crucial.
The final podium should be Verstappen Piastri and Norris in whatever order, and that would now be enough for Lando.
The question is though, will McLaren shoot themselves in the foot yet again?1
