Shut up Crofty you useless twat.
He's been awful today. Still think he's probably got one season left before Harry Benjamin takes over
  • Can Leclerc and Verstappen take each other out please?

Was thinking the same thing but virtual safety car riuns that and the end of the race. Still a brilliant 4th for Bearman though
  • If only the Stewards had the balls to penalise Verstappen

Would have been a brilliant podium for Ollie Bearman, at least he gets fourth

Yup - Probably don't like him for the McLaren crap in recent races e.g. Monza

I can’t quite fathom how Verstappen gets away with so much.
He’s an incredible driver and part of that is how close he is to the edge of legality, but I honestly can’t see how he wasn’t considered to have gained an advantage on both occasions on that first lap.
Both times he left the track due to over-aggressive driving which is his own fault. The second incident he bumped Hamilton before leaving the track and coming out ahead, then Hamilton got penalised straight afterwards when he seemed to be undoing the advantage Max had gained.

And don’t get me started on Crofty. He’s got his tongue so far up Verstappen’s anus he could tell you what he had for breakfast. I wonder if he’s aware of past criticism of Sky commentary favouring British drivers, so he’s proactively going the other way?
Whatever the reason, the blokes an enormous prick.

Hamilton should have given up a bit of time wheb he went off track but 10 seconds seemed harsh otherwise would have been 3rd or 4th

Norris with a champion drive. Nearly half a second in qualifying and a pit stop ahead in the race

I was thinking of going on holiday to Mexico next February.
    I might go somewhere else!

Surprised driver of the day wasn’t Carlos Sainz. Gets a 5 second penalty for speeding in the pit lane, comes it to serve it and gets done for a 2nd time for speeding in the pit lane

I hope that Lewis calls the stewards out. They appear to be very selective as to who they penalise and when they penalise and for what.

Great to see Olly enjoying the result.

He wasn't wrong about the Haas pit crew either

That was where I thought he'd be screwed, but they were mega with both stops

Bearman in a Ferrari for 2027??? Keep up those type of drives and Fred will have an easy decision to make.

    Lewis looks furious.
Needs to start with his team mate.
    Stewards, as per usual, biased.

It's seems a very deliberate strategy of Verstappen to go super aggressive on the first lap, lock-in track position and roll the dice on penalties. If the stewards don't rule against him, great; and if they do, he reasons that it's rarely enough to offset whatever advantage he's gained (especially if it takes them half the race to make a call in the first place).

If you’re right, then this is a strategy that’s working out very well for him because he seems to be escaping punishment. I even have a grudging respect for the chutzpah.
What I can’t respect though, is the weakness in the stewarding.

I’d stop short of saying biased. But I would say weak.

FWIW, I thought the booing of Lando on the podium was a bit off to say the least.  Not very F1 that.

Was it ever in doubt... Its matter of time until Freddie Slater makes it to F1

Can't wait to see him and de Palo as teammates next season

Looks like Audi are signing Freddie and De Palo is off to the McLaren academy.... Didn't see either of those as obvious options!

De Palo doesnt seem the greatest of options for McLaren, dont see that one happening, in terms of an F1 seat I mean, wonder if Ugochukwu has left their Programme as he's been in Campos rather than McLaren gear when doing F3 Post-Season Testing.

Exciting time for Freddie now though, as by the time he's F1 ready, he could replace either Gabi or Nico

Freddie Slater confirmed for the Formula Regional - Oceania Trophy this winter

Surprised he's not doing FRMEC again, but if Lindblad's performance is anything to go by, just give Freddie the title out there now

Although saying that, looks like Louis Sharp is taking part too, so could be a good grid this year.
