Brazil ALWAYS delivers!!
Helps when one set of tyres cant last an entire race1 -
Another great drive from Bearman1
-
Lando in prime position for the title now.
Vegas with cold temps will be Red Bull territory but that’s fine. He’s got a big buffer now. And McLaren will be quick in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
If he beats Piastri in a straight fight ….. that’s impressive0 -
Antonelli what a drive. DOTD will be Max but that was a very very stout defence from a rookie.1
-
How much more entertaining is Brazil than some of the shit tracks we have to put up with?
Always good value there.5 -
Lando imperious0
-
He's very close to the top ten, and also Hadjar now in the WDC as top rookie who isnt in a Merc...DaveMehmet said:Another great drive from Bearman

Ferrari got to be looking at getting Bearman in that second seat. Lewis has had a monumental career but he is 41 next year and checked out.
Bearman is their future2 -
Do you hate Bearman that much?DamoNorthStand said:Ferrari got to be looking at getting Bearman in that second seat. Lewis has had a monumental career but he is 41 next year and checked out.
Bearman is their future
Why would you want to destroy the lad's soul putting him in a Ferrari
Can see Hamilton's career being ended by two Rookies though, as Mercedes wanted Antonelli in the seat for this year, and can see Ferrari potentially dropping Hamilton next year, to avoid them losing Ollie to another team0 -
I think Lewis gives the new cars a chance even if I have no faith in Ferrari.DamoNorthStand said:Ferrari got to be looking at getting Bearman in that second seat. Lewis has had a monumental career but he is 41 next year and checked out.

I promise you, this isn’t a comment based on my dislike of Verstappen:
The talk of this being his best drive ever is a bit ott in my opinion. After all the engine changes, his car improved drastically. Yes he got the puncture which didn’t help, but he also got the benefit of the VSC which meant he lost very little and in the end, the early tyre change helped him, so it was a sort of accidental advantage. His car was not in the same league as the back of the field, so of course he flew past them. I’m not trying to minimise his drive, which was very good, but a lot of credit should go to the team and he also benefited from Piastri, Hamilton and LeClerc all having a mare.
Not taking anything away from him - a very good drive. But his best ever? No chance.
Edit: I will add too, that as much as I dislike Verstappen’s public persona, I do respect his driving ability and can’t deny that, regardless of what he does for the rest of his career, he will rightly be in the conversation of who the best drivers ever are.4 -
Glad its not just me... the Haas pairing showed the nature of Brazil this weekendlordromford said:I promise you, this isn’t a comment based on my dislike of Verstappen:

Bearman who ended up something like nearly 30-seconds ahead of the Racing Bulls, showed how easy it was to overtake around Interlagos yesterday, and Ocon who still managed to finish P12, and Haas didn't copy Red Bull, they pitted Ocon AFTER the VSC if memory serves me correctly, and Esteban was very much in that huge Lawson train come the finish line
I'm happy to agree when Verstappen has a monumental drive, 2024 Brazil was it... 2025 Brazil was not2 -
It was a bit like when Hamilton took a new everything in 2021 and stormed around.
Norris is looking strong giving it back to everyone who questioned his mental state needs to finish the job now1 -
Vegas will be interesting , cold and low grip has tended to favour the Mercs so I wouldn't be surprised if Russell cleans up.2
-
Might be Antonelli's moment as well, who has impressed these last two rounds compared to Russell a bitMarcusH26 said:Vegas will be interesting , cold and low grip has tended to favour the Mercs so I wouldn't be surprised if Russell cleans up.
Russell did say at some stage over the weekend that he was quite confident about Vegas0 -
Definitely Norris' to lose now. The way Piastri is going lately there's even a pretty good chance that Norris wraps it up before we get to Abu Dhabi.BigRedEvil said:It was a bit like when Hamilton took a new everything in 2021 and stormed around.

Piastri has gone from championship favourite in a 2 horse race to now potentially finishing 3rd. He won 7 of the first 15 races but now hasn't even finished on the podium for 5 straight races.1 -
I'd love it to be Kimis coming of age , weird how the European leg of the season where he knew all the tracks inside out was his weak link and now he's come alive and looks a lot more confident. Holding off Max yesterday will have done him the world of good.ForeverAddickted said:

The Audi placeholder livery I can't see being the final one. I'm sure Revolut as their title sponsor will have a big say in the final design. Silver back on the grid would be nice but I can't see it.

Top Down it looks a bit meh, but the side on angle gives it a very retro look
Is it basically going to be Silver / Red vs Silver / Teal between the two German teams?0 -
Revolut's colours are just black and white now though, so I can't see them actually changing much, colour wise.MarcusH26 said:The Audi placeholder livery I can't see being the final one. I hope it's not the final livery and the red and black is actually incorporated more, right now it looks like they rendered the back half of the livery and forgot to do the rest1 -

From Reddit.I know you were all thinking it.4 -
Formula 1 reddit is f**king weird... there is some theory around what Antonelli is eating as well0

Macau GP could be interesting this weekend, Freddie Slater from pole in the Saturday race and P2 on the Sunday behind Theophile Nael.
Seb Wheldon goes from pole in the F4 race.0 -
Took me a while to work out, but the format is really weirdMarcusH26 said:Macau GP could be interesting this weekend, Freddie Slater from pole in the Saturday race and P2 on the Sunday behind Theophile Nael.
Seb Wheldon goes from pole in the F4 race.
Both Qualifying sessions from yesterday and today get combined, so each Drivers fastest time from both sessions sets the Grid for the race tomorrow - Annoyingly only Nael managed to beat Slater's time from Thursday, and suspect had there not been so many Red Flags, he wouldn't have beaten Freddie either, so he goes from pole tomorrow, Slater goes from P2
The Grid for tomorrow's "Qualifying" race is here: 2025 Macau Grand Prix - Wikipedia
The result from that race... then sets the Grid for the race on Sunday.
Was surprised about Wheldon beating Nakamura-Berta, but even more surprised to see Bearman up in P4, should be quite an interesting F4 race, given that the likes of Seb and Kean haven't come up against Thomas and Fionn in Single Seaters
Such an amazing track though, was watching Slater's onboard during Qualifying, and the speeds they're going, through even narrower sections than what you see at Monaco, is just ridiculous... Should get some fun racing.
Given the sessions, I really won't be surprised if F3 next season is Slater (Trident) vs Nael (Campos)1 -
I've just seen on the F1 app that the Vegas race starts at 4am. Is that right?
I definitely watched it last year, I didn't get up for 4am surely???1 -
Yeah I thought that myself, looking at it the other day, seems it was a 10pm (6am) start last yearJohnBoyUK said:I've just seen on the F1 app that the Vegas race starts at 4am. Is that right?

That was a ridiculous performance in the Qualifying race, although Boya getting stuck behind Giltaire no doubt helped as well - Imagine it'll be a different case tomorrow - Such a shame in the F4 race too0
-
Oh how frustrating... Its always little Austrians that bugger it up isnt it!!
Great race though, brilliant track - If only Monaco could replicate it0 -
Very wet conditions in Vegas but Norris gets pole again, and with Piastri only starting 5th it's a huge opportunity for him tomorrow.
If the weather is anything like it was today though then the race could be carnage.2 -
Hamilton stone dead last, absolute shadow of himself, if he wanted to join Ferrari that much it should have been 2 or 3 years ago3
