    Lawson gets a 5-sec penalty and penalty point for spinning Bearman during the Sprint race

    Bearman gets the same for simply not giving Lawson enough room earlier down the straight... Which caused nothing

    I admit that Ollie is one of my favourite drivers out there, but swear he's getting penalties for things that arent usually given, yeah he was stupid to ignore Red Flags etc. but he's not been the only one to do it, but others have had excuses this season, then he gets a ten second penalty for hitting Sainz in Monza, but Lawson only gets five seconds today?

    Shame for Ollie to end up down in P8, but just didnt nail his final Quali, was of course in a Haas though - Good to see Kimi getting his confidence back, he's surprisingly struggled in Europe this year, and on tracks you'd expect him to be comfortable with.

    Brilliant day for Norris, wins the sprint and gets pole. Piastri crashes and then gets 4th in qualifying plus he then has the added bonus of Verstappen starting 16th.

    Have any of the Rookies had a great home race this year?

    Antonelli was terrible in Italy, Ollie got penalties at Silverstone, and Bortoleto has DNF'd both races.

    Yeah deserved, only downside is I could see him keeping a respectable position given the pace of the McLaren (P5 maybe?) - But its the standard penalty given out for incidents like that, so cant really complain.

    P5 at best. But this is Interlagos so who knows.

    Even with his 10 sec pen, Piastri is so much slower than Lando.

    Haas also have the absolute Wildcard for 2028 if it all works out with the Kalle Rovenpera plan.

    Verstappen has been so lucky with the SC / VSC - But equally been some great driving from him today, given the VSC stop was only for a puncture rather than tactically.

    Lando should just about be ok as Max is cooking those tyres. If theee is a safety car (and going on the Max luck there will be) then Lando is fucked
