Personally I think it would be a mistake for Edwards to take the Wolves job, but if he goes that creates an interesting vacancy at Middlesbrough.

Gary O'Neill would surely the favourite as an ex player and available for Boro

Not convinced he’d drop down to the Championship, I think he probably should though

I'm not sure they've ever forgiven him after he admitted getting booked deliberately to get a suspension, so he could have the weekend off to watch the Masters!

I think he probably has to. I don't think we'll see a queue of PL clubs lining up for him so the next best thing is going to a club who have a good chance to get there.

Middlesbrough reject an approach from Wolves for Rob Edwards
not surprising .. will Wolves fork out for compensation, will Edwards show loyalty to Steve Gibson who gave him a job after some failures ? .. we'll soon know
  • Give your manager a new 3 year deal when in the bottom 3, sack him less than 2 months later, try to appoint the fella who nearly got you relegated last year that you sacked only for him to turn you down, go for the fella who went down with Luton only for his club to reject you speaking to him.

Fair to say Wolves are making a balls up of this

The fella at Norwich has been skating on the thinnest of Ice for weeks now. Part of me hopes he turns it around.
Another 1 up for being brave and sticking with.
  • Looks like Rob Edwards is off to Wolves. His scheduled press conference has been cancelled this afternoon.

I bet they wish they still have Nuno Santo there.

Probably but he left them, if I remember rightly, not the other way round.

Wolves could have Klopp in charge, and they'd still be relegation fodder. Years of selling their best players and buying ones either not good enough or not ready for the intensity of PL football have left whoever is the manager with an impossible job.

Shocked he's still there. I suspect it might be shades of Parky at Charlton - they're in financial strife and can't afford to sack him.

Went to totteringham, but either way I'd imagine they would take him back if they could.  Obviously not now as he has just joined West Ham.
However, give it time if yer actual 'ammers go down and they bullet him.

Lose at home to Leicester tomorrow, would be nine home league defeats on the spin, and he’s toast.
