Off the pitch we are, once again, rudderless. It’s like running a huge bank and leaving the chief cashier in charge, such a shame as on the pitch we have come a long way.
Whats happened to Gavin (what’s his name) who was to be the shining Knight, very quite on all this.1 -

He’s doing his job? What are you expecting? Minutes of every single meeting that takes place at the club. There are people obviously in control in the meantime, they don’t need to be shouting about every movement from the rooftopHartleypete said:Off the pitch we are, once again, rudderless. He could at least raise his head above the parapet on the Millwall cock ups.AberystwythAddick said:

That's true of everyday matters. But by the same logic you'd think that someone might want to say something when there's been a fcuk up and the fans - the paying customers - aren't happy.AberystwythAddick said:

Not seen anyone ask for minutes of every meeting but following the poor performance of the outsourced catering v Watford there was a lot of comms from Gavin Carter and Ed Warrick about the problem and what they had done to rectify it. That was a good example of owning the problem and communicating with the fans. And it seems their actions have worked so praise is, IMHO, due there.AberystwythAddick said:

The comms and incidents before, during and after the home game are a different problem as it doesn't just involve a contracted supplier over whom the club have a great deal of influence and control.
There is another club involved and a police force who have a great deal of power so I can understand that the club have to tread carefully and be careful in what they say but not to the extent of saying next to nothing and even appearing to down play the issues.
The Chairman and SMT have already shown that they can do a lot better.

I wonder how the new CEO search is going. And the replacements for TL and Dr Will come to that.1

Of course I have no idea but I take the perceived “delay” as being positive. Very important roles to be filled and I think it’s good that the club is taking its time finding the right people.0

Most likely nothing to do with our vacancy but Bromley have been and are a very progressive club who have developed commercially as well as on the pitch in recent years.
And he's local.
Bromley Football Club today announces that CEO Mark Hammond has informed the Club of his decision to step down from his role. Mark’s decision reflects a personal and professional ambition to pursue new challenges following a remarkable period of growth and progress both on and off the pitch. Mark commented: “It has been a privilege to serve this football club and to share in its journey. I have enormous affection for the staff, the players, and, above all, the supporters. After many incredible years, I feel it’s now time for me to explore life beyond Bromley." Owner & Chairman Robin Stanton-Gleaves added: “The Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Mark for his outstanding contribution and commitment to Bromley Football Club, particularly during this recent period of success. "His unwavering work ethic and energy have been central to that progress and will be greatly missed. He leaves with the gratitude and respect of everyone connected with the Club." Mark will continue to support the transition process and oversee the Academy and Education Department during his notice period to ensure a smooth handover, and we wish him every success in his future endeavours.6 -
