  • I also thought it was Coventry
  • A poor decision from Ramsay, but I do feel that it's being made out that he got sent off and gave a penalty away, to put it on a plate for Scum.

His decision making for the 3rd against QPR was also poor, so he needs to realise he's not above this level, unlike L1.

He's got plenty of credit tbh (think double block v Wycombe).
Just put it down to a learning curve - he wont do it again.

Burnley player got sent off today against Liverpool for almost the same tackle whilst on a yellow.  On both occasions, you also have to credit the attackers quick feet and skill for creating the suituation.  It happens, we move on.

That’s exactly what I said to my boy during the game thought the final foul was CC as well would need to see again

Silly boy though hopefully he learns from it but again it’s that step up in pace and things he got away with last season won’t happen in this league
These are the sort of errors that should be reviewed at half-time and the ref should be aware of. I'd dispute that the 2nd was a nailed on yellow because the later foul on Carey was worse and not carded.

The game is full of instances where a guy on a yellow is shown leniency for a 2nd offence.

One blip (which he will learn from) in a so far bright career with us. He seems like a decent guy too. As others have rightly said- but for him we might still be slopping out in League One. He's still massively in credit as far as I'm concerned.

rush of blood - a mistake he'll learn from - he's a top player but still young and as everybody has said, he's well in credit - be interesting to see who NJ replaces him with next week - his pace will be missed if gillesphey or burke come in
  • Wonder if Bree will start Saturday?

I'd predict as much, the interesting thing will be whether Ramsay gets his place back post-ban or not. Not because he's not good enough, which he clearly is, but NJ might use it as an opportunity to show that everyone has to earn a place, or can lose it with a bad choice/performance.
  • Still comfortably our best player and one silly mistake doesn't change that. He will learn from it.

I do think he can feel a little hard done by when you look at some of the challenges Millwall players put in that didn't receive a yellow card.

I was a bit worried about Kayne as he’s not looked entirely himself since the Millwall red. Seemed to knock his confidence and that’s a key part of his game - he needs his swagger. Having to battle for his place needed careful handling.

The penalty box tackle last night has hopefully put all that to bed and we have our 100% hero back firing on all cylinders.

Actually, the mistakes crept in from that final Kone goal against QPR. I think it dented his swagger and sense of invincibility in a one-v-one duel. Sometimes you need time out to realise that personal duels are hugely important to win, but not at the cost of the team's goal.

He's a great lad. Close friends with Lloyd Jones (helps playing next to each other), and it's great to see his family at the Valley.

    Great to see.
  • On his current contract I can't imagine he's earning anywhere near what he could be, with 20 months still to run. Hopefully a contract extension and improved terms works for all concerned. I'm not ITK, just posting in hope.

Love that his family follow us - I reckon I high fived his mum on the way out after last season’s win at Brisbane Road (or whatever it’s called these days). Just to be clear, that was before NJ banned high fives.

As someone that used to play right back and right of a 3 at step 5, I fawn over how he plays. He reads the game but his strength and confidence is on another level. The way he uses his body, and tbf Bell is the same. It’s ridiculous and im hear for it.
