  • West Ham United can confirm that Head Coach Graham Potter has left the Club.
  • It was only yesterday I read that Potter and the west ham board held positive talks. Well that didn't last long.
  • And Moyes isn't available this time.

Did he get the dreaded vote of confidence?
  • Nuno Espirito Santo is set to become new West Ham head coach

He's expected to be in place ahead of Monday’s clash against Everton
  • West ham landing on their feet once again. Could of had someone a lot worse than Nuno.
  • I think they're still pretty fucked tbh
  • Nuno will be an interesting one. Still feels like they'll be in trouble because most of their recent signings have been disastrous.
  • The availability of Nuno must have helped the decision. Having such a good manager available is lucky.

Nuno to West Ham when Sullivan and Brady realise Potter isn't going to work? Then again I don't know if anyone can make West Ham successful under their ownership
    Good call!

  • West Ham need to seriously overhaul their squad.

Their midfield must be the slowest in the division

    We live in hope
  • As the PL clubs are taking part in a pass the parcel game, Potter to Man U next?  :D
  • Cheltenham Town Football Club are delighted to confirm that Steve Cotterill has returned to the Robins as first-team manager.

The West Ham board was positive that Graham Potter, unlike namesake Harry, was no magician and his time as manager/head coach/whatever was over
  • 23 years since he was there - wonder what the biggest gap between two spells at a club is?
    Googled it.
"Graham Turner left Shrewsbury in 1984 and returned in 2010, a gap of 26 years."

Graham Potter is more Ron Weasley than Harry Potter...
  • Who's going to get sacked first, Amorim or big Ange?

Big Ange. I think he’s been found out at last

  • Surely we're due the Russell Martin club statement by now? Properly weird press comments too.
  • Who's going to get sacked first, Amorim or big Ange?

Wasn't sure you were being serious at first, then saw this in one of the papers.

"Ange Postecoglou is fighting for his Nottingham Forest future and facing a potentially pivotal game at Newcastle United on Sunday.

Postecoglou's position as Forest’s head coach is already in doubt, just 24 days into his tenure, with owner Evangelos Marinakis understood to be growing seriously concerned by results and performances."

    Football is mad.

Ange surely knew what he was getting into with
Marinakis based on what happened with Nuno.

He literally came on the pitch and had an argument with his manager in front of everyone.

It’s should be clear to all that is not conducive to a long term working relationship.

Marinakis is entirely at fault for this, he has to see it out with Postecoglou.
The supporters should be directing their anger at the chairman.
  • Seemingly the entire world except Marinakis knew Ange's style of play is completely different from Nuno's. A team that has been playing one way (and getting good results) for a couple of years was always going to struggle to adapt mid-season and start playing a different way.
  • Steve Bruce has been sacked by Blackpool

One of his best players last season is currently sitting on our bench.
  • Steve Bruce has been sacked by Blackpool
Blackpool have been terrible this season.  They've lost players, but should be much better than they are.
  • Steve Bruce has been sacked by Blackpool
And that surely must be his goodbye from professional football.
