MrOneLung said:Ok. Here’s the OneLung blueprint for the next home game versus the vermin
1 - only give them upper tier
2 - keep Millwall behind for 40 mins
3 - let them kick off amongst themselves
4 - bill Millwall for the inevitable repairs required.QED

So it only seems fair that we do not give them the whole of the Jimmy Seed stand next season.
Give them 2k tickets instead of 3k tickets, have a police presence in the stand and keep them back for 30 minutes after the game instead of all the nonsense yesterday.Cheapest adult tickets (outside family area) at Southampton today were £40. They are charging £30 for Middlesbrough, so that tallies with a one third uplift.

iainment said:I got the 177 from Plumstead. Met my wife, who walked, outside the club shop. Went in and at the end left. Walked with thousands up to Maryon Wilson Park. Got the bus, went to the Herbert and then for a curry. Home at 8.
My only issue that the way to the bus on the lower road was blocked by plod.
Im lucky I guess.5 -
charltonnick said:The club really needs to restrict the Millwall allocation if we play them again next season. 1500 max
If you can't control them without having to massively inconvenience and mistreat home fans then restrict their numbers exactly as they have done with us going to the New Den.1 -
1 - give them the whole west stand on £5 tickets
2 - keep them behind for 40 mins
3 - let them kick off amongst themselves
4 - bill Millwall for the inevitable repairs required.
5 - bus them to crimea6 -
Weegie Addick said:There is a more constructive relationship with the club than there has been for years - virtually since CAST was set up in 2012. That’s a good thing and has resulted in many positive actions eg the handrails in the Curbs stand and improved F&B service - albeit still plenty of room for further improvement. There is no “cosy relationship” and we take our responsibilities to represent fans and raise issues completely seriously. None of the CAST board receive any hospitality or perks from the club, despite what some would have you believe. Instead we put in hours of volunteer work. As Fen says, stand for the board. Or offer your help as a volunteer.
I have to be honest and say I missed the fans campaigning for handrails.
Sorry, I'm a member but jeez,9 -

We stayed in the AC stand until it was empty and there were still more supporters hanging around in and behind the JS stand. If you are party to greatly inconveniencing your own fans by making them wait until visiting supporters are clear of the area/station then at least do something to encourage them on their way. If they had then perhaps the JS/AC gate issue would not have arisen.3

I thought I heard a police office say that the person in charge was "Commander Boswell". Equally a young officer a few feet away claimed to not have a clue who was in charge.2

At the station, just before the gate to the Kent-bound platform, an employee was helpfully, I think, announcing info about the train arriving etc. I couldn't say for sure because she was pointing her megaphone to the sky !0

Too much overthinking.
You simply do what 91 other clubs do in these circumstances & keep the away fans behind for 20 mins or so. Its not fucking rocket science.
And sorry, the OB dont get to tell us what they want us to do. They dont with the other 91 clubs.
We are too passive as a club.17 -
Think the concern would be if we won yesterday we would then hold them up as we would be lapping it up etc.
it makes the police’s job a lot harder for me as I said north upper walked to the fan zone had 2 pints with my mates and then walked up the normal route to station and got on train to Blackheath with a rousing rendition of the national anthem.Got to Blackheath went to the crown and it was full of them but honestly not too many pricks in general a draw suits both.Do think when we play over there will be a lot of kicking off.1 -
I would genuinely let everyone out at the same time. And I mean it. Fuck em. Load wannabe pricks living up to a long dead firm and reputation. The sort of cap wearing smug pricks that think by saying the’re Wall makes them invincible.Sad c***s. Literally nothing to be scared of. The fear of these pricks is worse than losing to them half of the time1

Be careful what you wish for!
Most sensible "non football people" would simply suggest playing games like this behind closed doors as the most obvious solution.
This would save the "ordinary taxpayer" the cost of policing outside the ground and prevent danger to everyone else in the area.
No other company would be allowed to stage an event or festival where the organisers accept violence is inevitable. Why is football any different?0 -

In the same way Mick Everitt still works at Charlton despite people saying he has left us1 -
People who keep saying the club should ignore the police advice/instructions would be risking the clubs public insurance liability policy. The insurance companies are always look out for reasons not to pay up.0
-
it took me treble the time to get home - just because the Millwall scum cant behave.
Will not bother of we play them again.1 -

There is no accountability. That's what is looks like anyway.
Any result other than a loss for Millwall and they were never going to be quick to leave. That is obvious.
Who decided the arrangement, local police at Greenwich or a higher up in the Met?
