Special mention today for the police driving their vans through a massed crowd of charlton fans that had been blocked off from entering the station. Their whole operation seemed a complete shambles today
Can people please email photos and first hand evidence to secretary@castrust.org and we will compile and raise with the club. Thank you. (Doesn’t matter if you’re a member or not)
None of this is the clubs fault. Apparently. That gate was adequately manned. No blame must be attached to the club. Apparently.
I mean, the people in that stand are apparently so dangerous that 20,000 of your own fans need to be inconvenience for their own safety, but you man the gate with a couple of minimum wage stewards.
I'm totally sick of these c*nts turning up and us rolling out the fucking red carpet for them, with a VIP lane back to the train station. Totally embarrassing.
Gotta to say fair play to the 2 stewards there on their own. Fuck that for minimum wage poor fellas.
I got the 177 from Plumstead. Met my wife, who walked, outside the club shop. Went in and at the end left. Walked with thousands up to Maryon Wilson Park. Got the bus, went to the Herbert and then for a curry. Home at 8. My only issue that the way to the bus on the lower road was blocked by plod. Im lucky I guess.
How was it at the level crossing anyone know? I got through Ransom Walk as police were letting everyone through by the time I got there, despite initially advertising it was only for those unable to go on the hike via the crossing. I think if they hadn't it was getting dangerously congested outside the club shop. The exit gate to the left of the club shop was held shut by stewards, adding to the pressure on the main route out if the west stand and into Harvey Gardens, even with Ransom Walk then open.
I’d like to know why they’re so overzealous with their tactics against football supporters - getting fully kitted out in riot gear with batons drawn - only to end up making a couple of arrests for being drunk, throwing the odd punch or not walking the permitted route. While facing having to make hundreds of arrests for drugs, sexual assaults, rapes, stabbings, and even the occasional murder at Carnival, wearing rainbow coloured sunglasses?

Agreed, and for the record I certainly wasn't having a pop at them. Blokes deserve a bonus. They don't get paid for that.

Wouldve been a bit of a problem if 20000 people followed your excellent example though.

You do realise that some people might think what's the point in involving the Trust in anything now, don't you? I've always been a supporter, but that response to the announced restrictions before the game was just a joke. I thought the idea of a members organisation was to stand up for and protect the interests of it's members , as uncomfortable as that may be for those who may have cosy little relationships with the club.

Would certainly need to push a few tables together in the curry house.

Whoever sold the box to Millwall fans should be sacked imo. Totally unacceptable

They are too close to the club these days to say anything to upset them. The club have them exactly where they want them

Perhaps we should run a poll on that?
Which goes in the bin when it turns out to be not the way the majority wants it to go

Unfortunately, this very much seems to be the case. It's the only explanation that makes any sense.

In fairness the pair of fans advisors silence has been noted as well

What, and get shouted down for it by the other members who prefer the cosy bosom the club currently provide?

No problem with it at all. But I don't think there's any harm in pointing out that those who criticise the Trust have the option of doing something about it. Obviously there are reasons why people might choose or not be able to but it's easy to criticise, hard to act.
Whilst this thread is entitled Millwall 2025 onwards let’s be honest it’s only a Millwall problem nothing like this will happen again this season
Police cocked up in so many ways today and will result in us getting a reduced allocation at the toolbox and kept in for an hour, it’s standard
I sit in the AC and the little mob that goaded the spanners didn’t help but Millwall have always been bullies relying on numbers rather than anything, just more pricks as a percentage of fans than most teams
There were kids no older than 10 in that corner of the away end that were giving it, they are horrible always have been as long as I’ve been going,
What makes me laugh is I know a few from work insurance people, accountants, bankers etc living in a nice place is Sidcup and yet they surround themselves with a few pricks on an away day and think they are invincible

The only problem at the level crossing was due to plod allowing cars.to try a negotiate a way through crowds of fans walking down the road. In fact the only aggro I saw was two motorist, having an altercation, one going towards the the level crossing and one coming up the hill they sat there shouting at one another as there was no room to pass with parked cars on either side of the road. The plod should have closed the road.

Or you could have a debate, challenge the decisions made and potentially improve things. Nominations are being sought now, the make up of the board could be completely different by the end of the year if people actually applied

if they smash it up, so be it - it needs sorting out anyway - and their owner can pay for it
20 coaches with 75 fans on equates to 1,500. Set them all off from The Den or wherever there pick up points are for away games.
Perhaps we should run a poll on that?
