Bring back the bloke from last year please!
Due to our still great defence, this geezer has hardly anything to do, apart from punching instead of an easy catch.
Including today I blame 2 goals for poor goalkeeping. That would be an extra 2-4 points on the board...

Aside from the goal I thought it probably Kaminski's best game. Not sure he could've parried it anywhere else, though maybe he could have held onto it? Would need to see it again.15

I wasn't impressed with him, palming the strike back into the danger area - He had a better game this week, but I equally don't like his preference to punch the ball clear either.
Am sure he'll get better - Mannion had his weak moments early on last season.1 -
From tv POV, it was a great save, and catching wasn't an option. Was a huge gap where the Millwall guy scored from, one of ours should have got there quicker to clear it.6

I'd say it was just bad luck it fell to one of them, but it wasn't bad luck. It was the curse4

Had a shot absolutely drilled at him from the level of the penalty spot and he's supposed to magically send it into space. The defending was poor and we shouldn't have even had the reprieve of the save but once we did them having a player unmarked to poke it back in was ridiculous. Kaminski had a good game, he was strong in the air and looked very comfortable until his defence let him down. The desire to pick out certain players as targets - Kaminski, Kelman, TC etc - is just bizarre. The 'bloke from last year' wasn't even on the bench today24

He made some great passes which will get lost in the one mistake, loved him turning Coburn too3

It is his default though . Don’t like the punching when not under huge pressure either.Garrymanilow said:Had a shot absolutely drilled at him from the level of the penalty spot and he's supposed to magically send it into space. Also, is it just the aim of a forum to say everyone was brilliant ?7 -

We are under the impression he (Kaminski) was a significant part of the budget so that’s the point.2
-
Are we?! We signed 10 players, spent about 10-11m in total and he was rumoured to be a tenth of that, hardly a "significant" part of the budget.valleynick66 said:We are under the impression he (Kaminski) was a significant part of the budget so that’s the point.
He was good today, came out for a lot more than he usually does, looked calm with the ball at his feet and made a great save, unfortunately for all of us, none of the defence reacted in time and they scored from the rebound3 -

The rumoured fee was less than those for Kelman, Apter, Knibbs and Tanto. Ignoring the frees think the only cheaper ones would have been Burke and JRC so he’s slap bang in the middlevalleynick66 said:We are under the impression he (Kaminski) was a significant part of the budget so that’s the point.2 -
Well I believe it’s suggested he isn’t cheap in terms of his total cost ie wages and feessam3110 said:

Watched the goal back a few times now. Ball is fired very quickly from about 10 yards away. Kaminski’s reactions are good, he actually expects the ball to be going further to his left so has to adjust his hands. I think that’s why he parries it into danger. For some reason Coventry has decided to leave his man to charge towards the player who took the initial shot. Carey doesn’t notice and doesn’t cover Coventry’s man who then slots home. As ever with goals, it wasn’t one just one error4

He’s poor - we need an upgrade.. very dodgy against Watford also9
-
There seems to be a lot of hesitancy between him and the back four.1
-
Like a few others have said I suspect NJ has fallen out with Mannion for him to have gone totally off radar unless he has taken his paternity leave lol. I would much rather Mannion in goal personally3
-
Kaminski is still probably the best of the three, but it’s a low bar. Hopefully Jones is ruthless and we go shopping in January.1

Hopefully several players improve as the season goes on and we start scoring more goals and we defend better. The Red Robin said:Kaminski is still probably the best of the three, but it’s a low bar. Hopefully Jones is ruthless and we go shopping in January.
Still far too early to decide Kaminski isn’t good enough.4 -
It isn’t too early to say he doesn’t come for high balls into our box and although admittedly it’s a preference I prefer keepers to do that rather than having to risk the chaos of the ball ping ponging around our boxScoham said:

Punched at least two crosses that he should have caught today, and that parry for their goal was piss poor. Wasn't a powerful enough shot for him to palm it straight back down the middle. For someone who was lauded as a big name signing, he's been really disappointing.

The inexplicable Charlton Life tradition of slagging off our goal keepers is still alive and well……unfortunately.

It's all awful. The gaping hole in defence for the pass, the flap by Kaminski and the lack of reaction to the rebound.Rothko said:

From where it’s hit and Kaminski save, where do you think he can get it too?Croydon said:

I don't think he was at fault for their goal today, but he's been poor. Not made any eye-catching saves, been indecisive with crosses, and I wouldn't call his distribution amazing either.1

Kaminski flap FFS what on earth are you on about…..he did well enough to have saved it in the first place.Croydon said:

Where the ball ended up was very unfortunate from his standpoint, however there really should have been someone around to have got at least a touch on the ball.5 -
He was so good, you couldn't even remember his name!Cafcmunich said:Bring back the bloke from last year please!8 -
Not seen a replay of the goal, so can’t comment on whether he should have palmed it away from danger, but the rest of the game I thought he looked crap.5
