Doesn't apply so much to Ward but with our budget I think we have to accept that with defenders of the quality we're looking for. Burke is a good example and Luton fans said that Bell's hamstrings had gone. Apropos nothing, the best set piece takers Charlton have had on the books recently are/were Alex Gilbert, Aaron Henry, and out on loan and unrealistic Toby Bower.
Gillesphey is more your go for goal free kick bloke than your set piece bloke.

Funnily enough a Saints fan mentioned James Bree to me yesterday and asked if we might take him. Apparently he would be plenty good enough for us but wasn't suitable for the Premier League, which I don't think is going to be an issue. Combative and beloved by Jones apparently which are the two most important attributes for us signing a player10
