Are we really "missing" chances though? It doesn't feel like that to be honest. It doesn't even feel like we are creating loads despite the XG numbers etc.
Our xG is 18th in the league. So we aren’t creating masses of good chances, but tbh we were never going to at this level. If we stay around 18th for xG we will stay up with our defensive record
Defensive record is history now. Not looking so good atm.
Lack of creativity in midfield as they are so tied down with "doing the basics"=defending ,so our strikers left feeding off scraps and opposition errors.
No idea if Kelman is any good- he probably needs a good pass to score.
What do you mean not looking so good? We have played 4 games in the championship and in terms of conceding chances we have the 4th best defence in the league so far

Genuinely mental how people can overreact and jump to conclusions so much based on 1 game, and ignore the 3 other games we’ve played this season

It was Jones who actually signed Bree for Southampton in January 2023, not long before he was sacked.

Liz Bree (any relation to Kevin) just followed us on Instagram
    Kevin Liz Bree?
You're getting more LOLs for explaining the joke!
  • Only 27 as well, would have thought that he'd be quite a bit older than that actually.

No complaints from me if he joins.
Sounds like Bree needs to mature

Incredible isn't it. Not only is it not true, but it's also making a sweeping judgement after 4 games in a new division.

God help them when our real slump in form inevitably comes :)

I like the signing of Bree, despite knowing absolutely nothing about him.

Perennial Championship player with decent Premier League experience, entering his prime years. I can't see him coming here if he isn't going to get a lot of game time, so it will be interesting what that means for Apter.

Like Bree. That would be a gouda signing.

Just had Bree to Charlton confirmed to me
To be fair you got Potts right last year. Do you know if it's done or something we're still working on?
I believe it is something we are still working on.

If I could add 1 type of player only today it would be a powerful runner who can carry the ball with him - dare I say it, a Thierry small with a better end product - Apter has his attributes but galloping past players into space isn’t his strong point - I think last week was deflating but we shouldn’t overreact - nobody is outclassing us, we will be ok

The above could be a wind up

I'm not ITK having mentioned Bree last night , that was completely based off Southampton signing an RB from Gala on loan 😂😂
    Going stoke apparently

Yeah he was giving out fake info earlier too. Less than 50 followers, claims to work for the mirror. Nonsense

So is Bree coming in to play RWB and likely to be favoured over Apter? Seems a bit less attacking than Apter

James Bree follows Harvey Knibbs on instagram. I don’t know if they have played together before but is a bit random.
If anything I probably wouldn’t be surprised if it was the other way round with Knibbles following Brie  :)

More likely having a more defensive option and not having to rely on Burke's fitness and moving Ramsay if we want to be more secure or see out a game

  • Not sure about this Bree rumour - Linda isn't very supportive of her son she's not following anyone...

That makes sense. Can’t see him coming in to be backup was my thinking but imagine Jones will switch up depending on opposition

Think that'll be that bar the odd academy loan

Preston now want Sinclair Armstrong on loan from Bristol city. Could that now mean that David Datro Fofana can join us?

Bree sounds like a good addition but would surely mean the end of the Fukuda interest?

Possibly not if it means Apter is kept high up the pitch without defensive duties.

Completely the wrong profile. His mum is actually called Sky Bree (spelt Bri on her socials)

She seems to be very active on Instagram for those interested.

Looks like we might be busier today than originally anticipated

Unbelievable when you look back now.

Not only was that leech willing to suck the club dry, but he was taking the piss out of us supporters at the same time.

Sometimes I’d like to meet him on a beach, kick sand in his eyes and bury him at low tide with only his head poking out of the sand.
Only if the Rochdale supporters don't meet him first.
