How we play is irrelevant to signing someone who’s body is not up to the rigours of championship football all.
I won't say a word about the missed apostrophe earlier, or even the now missing "?".

Some of the most interesting/intelligent people I have met can't spell for toffee or write very well, it is not a complete measuring stick at all.

I wouldn't read too much into that honestly. Yeah Jones was absent but so were the other two out of the normal three, it was a totally makeshift defence.
I'm very sure that while Lloyd is very important, Ramsay and Bell would cope a whole lot better in his absence than Laqeretabua and Mitchell did.
I also don't know if playing Josh and Zach either side of Lloyd would have been much more successful either - he can lead a defence well but with those two he'd essentially be micromanaging the entire defence which isn't ideal.

But you’d never going to have 3 young players in the back line at most Z Mitchell would be playing with two regular first team defenders … so he would not be isolated.

He does seem to have developed a fanboy/girl club who point at everyone around him, or his exact position (been given a go at RB, RCB and CB now).
If he had something about him, you'd realise he had more experience than those around him and may have taken the lead. I believe that was the hope.
Yes, I hope Zach learns how to dominate the space and lead more than he did on Tuesday. I noticed when Keenan Gough came on he did exactly that. I'm sure Curtis Fleming will have noticed and will help Zach with it.
Also makes sense as someone who can compete / be solid at the level but wouldn't break the bank and likely doesn't demand to displace a good thing we have with Ramsay and Jones

I'm not sure personally I wasn't in love with how quickly he ditched us after relegation (of which is drop off in form was a key factor)
But also he's not played since the terribly sad heart condition and only recently cleared to return, is he anywhere near the same player he was?
I'd like to see us look abroad for a new defender, there's not a lot of value or prospects in the UK, right now. WBA and Plymouth had great success and good value last season (Heggem cost £0.6m, sold for £10m, Talovierov bought for £1.5m, sold undisclosed)
Only 30 years old, if he's over his problems or they can be managed properly (like Eriksen) then he'll be an asset to any championship club.
Could end up with a back 4 of Kaminski, Burke, Lockyer and Bell, who may well have all played together in the Premier League only a couple of seasons ago!
Player / coach role perhaps? Would be an ideal signing as Callum says could provide decent backup quality not expecting to dislodge Bell, Jones or Ramsay either. Can’t be too many options available like this, well worth a punt.
