What a ball from Fullah1
-
Wins breed confidence, continues to build fitness and gives us an opportunity to get a decent tie in the next round and make a bit of money hopefully. For me this is a case of all eggs in one basket with no regard given for anything else.2
-
Yet to see anything of Mbick to suggest he’s ready to play for us4
-
Good touch and dangerous cross from Rylah.
You can see why the club seem to rate him, but he has other moments when he looks so far off senior level.2 -
But we lost in the First Round last season of this competition, and still got promoted?cafc4life said:Wins breed confidence, continues to build fitness and gives us an opportunity to get a decent tie in the next round and make a bit of money hopefully. Nice crossfield ball from Mwamba to (I'mnotsure), but Mbick and Enslin can't get to the cross.0
-
great cross from rylah0

he is playing for uscafcsinger said:Yet to see anything of Mbick to suggest he’s ready to play for us4 -

Have you been out for a drink and the pics yet mate...plenty of time...😉EugenesAxe said:Don’t fancy Mitchell much1 -
Would have him out on loan probably in the National League but sounds like there's zero chance of that happening.cafcsinger said:Yet to see anything of Mbick to suggest he’s ready to play for us0 -

Can you really tell, given the standard of his teammates?cafcsinger said:Yet to see anything of Mbick to suggest he’s ready to play for us
If he's having to be thrown into the First Team, with those he's playing with tonight, we're in trouble.0 -
The thing is, whether you like it or not, some people do care - and ultimately they give up their time and money to follow their side, because they want to watch their side win, and I think they have a right to be slightly miffed about the team choice today.ElliotCAFC said:Honestly don’t understand why so many people care about a cup we have zero chance of winning, are we so desperate to be pumped 6-0 by Arsenal in the third round? We’re playing the u21’s to see how they shape up against a League One side.I can’t believe our fans in the ground are mockingly chanting “we’ve got the ball… we’ve lost the ball” etc to a bunch of academy boys trying their best.

Fullah to Enslin, cross into the box is cleared wide, we try to pass it about a bit but the cross from the left is collected by the keeper0
-
Out of interest, who from the first 11 would you have played today ahead of a 12:30 kick off Saturday?1

Lets not pretend that people don't care about us not winning and that's it, a lot of those not "caring" about tonight, are just looking at the bigger picture.FishCostaFortune said:

Ultimately the whole, caring / not caring is a load of bollocks3 -
I would have had Doc at least on the bench I think, it's been pretty obvious there's no leadership out thereTheHerminator said:Out of interest, who from the first 11 would you have played today ahead of a 12:30 kick off Saturday?1 -
It's not really that different to the Stevenage line-up. Slightly worse keeper, Alex Mitchell not there - which has probably made the difference - Hobden in place of Rylah is much of a muchness and Kelman for Leaburn shouldn't be a downgrade. We've just also been a bit more rubbishClem_Snide said:Jones has basically conceded here. Real insult to those who have paid good money to travel to the game.Given the relatively strong side we put out against Stevenage you would have expected similar this evening.4 -

Don’t really understand why we’ve put Enslin right and Rylah left, both seem less comfortable on their “wrong” sides to me.0

11 changes means we don’t care about progressing
No adults on the bench means we don’t care about progressing

Another Cambridge sub, we're trying to do some quick coaching while that happens.0

None of the experienced players have shone this evening...2

Forgive me for wanting my team to be competitive, and looking to win every game.Maybe some on here are to used to the losers mentality we’ve been accustomed too in recent years that this is acceptable. As others have said, if we go and roll over to QPR on Saturday, tonight looks even more ridiculous.3 -
I also want the team to win? Just won’t wet the bed over the second round of the Carabao Cup.Algarveaddick said:

But there's always Bur .................... oh see what you mean.Clem_Snide said:We have a big issue if Ramsay or Jones get injured. Fuck me that was woeful.0 -
Your whinging about winning breeding confidence blah blah blah, but we lost in the First Round at this stage of the competition last season, and it did us no harm.cafc4life said:

What bit about that did you struggle with?1 -
None of them. Type of game we would have lost a Leaburn in to another injury.TheHerminator said:Out of interest, who from the first 11 would you have played today ahead of a 12:30 kick off Saturday?5
