If you had a S/T for this season and last season and only went to 5 away games in each of the last 2 seasons you should have been able to get a ticket (and less than that if you attended cup games).
But the games in 23/24 don’t count, and neither did Bristol City? So you’d have 510 pts plus any home cups.
Really don't understand why the Bristol City game didn't count that would have put me up to the next phase. But my angst is that every season ticket holder should have had a single opportunity to buy 1 ticket. Then, at least season ticket holders would have filled the end not half of them plus 1.
Obviously no issue with those that attend most of the games then filter down.
We have over 11,000 season ticket holders, and QPR gave us about 1,700 tickets, that would lead to a lot more justifiable complaints that the regular away travellers who are also season ticket holders would/could miss out
But it gives more season tickets holders who put their money in like anybody else the opportunity. Only the selfish think otherwise.
No season ticket holder occupies 2 seats at the valley why should they anywhere else.
The more regular away travelling season ticket holder wouldn't miss out as they would be in the first few phases. Not hard to understand is it.
I'm sorry but this ain't it. There are a lot of people who just go to home games and that's it.
There are people who go to every single game no matter where the game is, those people should always have an advantage over people who just attend home games.
If you are doing the hard miles for the likes of Bristol games away on evenings, Derby, Bolton, Cheltenham, etc, you should absolutely have priority this season for the more glamorous local derbies that are easier to get to.
I'm sure you are a nice enough person, but your mindset towards this is completely unreasonable, as were people complaining about not getting Wembley tickets without doing the hard miles.
Go to more games, and you'll have a greater chance of getting tickets for local derbies. It really is that simple.
When I lived in Nottingham/Sheffield/Lincoln etc, I wasn't complaining I couldn't get tickets, as I understood there were people who were more deserving, and I went to all the games I could that had more tickets readily available (Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Rotherham etc)

Pretty sure Chippy is more than ok with all of that, he said as much, his problem is the +1 everyone gets to jump the queue.
In the home end with a QPR mate for this one. An absolute steal at £47.50 😬
I'm expecting you to be along the side at that price.
Whilst the ground is cramped you'll get a decent view of the game. It's only when you're behind the goal that I do not like Loftus Road.
PS, that price is absolutely criminal.
Definitely this. I’ve seen a couple of rugby games sitting along the side. It’s a great view and just what you want as a spectator being so close to the pitch. Behind the goals however, QPR is one of the worst grounds going. How you can allow a stand where a large percentage of the fans can’t even see the goal line is a scandal.

That is the one issue we currently have in the system that needs to be changed, but even if it were to be changed that needs to be staggered.
I suspect quite a few peolle travel in pairs or groups to a lot of away games and that data has not been collected for the 2nd person
Ideally the club need to announce at the start of a season they will go to 1 per person the following season, and from the start of the season once the announcement is made all tickets need to be assigned (and the actual IT system should be changed to allow people to allocate points when purchasing 2 when currently the system does not allow to allocate points for the 2nd person if they dont qualify themselves)

It's worth bearing in mind that Chippy would have been phase 8 if he didn't have Valley Gold, so he should be grateful that Valley Gold gave him a chance at phase 7.
I agree that Valley Gold should be boosted, but it's definitely boosted too much. For this fixture, it was the equivalent of two season tickets and eight away games last season.
Valley Gold PLUS points should definitely push you further ahead in the queue. Although, all this really does in The Championship is helps to sit large groups together.
Valley Gold by itself should also come in SOMEWHERE, but pushing it so far beyond the equivalent of two season tickets is ridiculous.
I also agree that being able to add plus ones for people with no/significantly less points is unfair. There are two simple solutions around this in my opinion. Either:
1. Outside of general sale, you have to allocate the tickets to somebody who also meets the criteria for the phase you are buying at. (The better option)
2. You can only buy additional tickets for people who don't meet the criteria if you buy additional tickets regularly enough (ideally at home games so Charlton benefits from it). This is probably a bit overly complicated though for the few games where this will actually matter.
That being said, it would be really interesting to see the data. I don't think there is a widespread issue of people buying away tickets for mates who don't go. I personally think that Valley Gold members who don't have season tickets and are only interested in attending big games is more of an issue. This is based upon the people I have been seeing at away games.

But who is jumping the queue? It is likely Charlton fans regardless. I always get my two cousins a ticket and they are season ticket holders and go to plenty of aways, and frankly, anyone who has enough loyalty points, I don't see the harm if they specifically want to take someone to a game.
I would be willing to bet it's less than 1% who bring someone who isn't a genuine Charlton fan, and the people with the high loyalty points just wouldn't do that anyway imo, anyone I know with high loyalty points brings their partner or a relative who are usually Charlton.
It's literally one or two games a season, never see these issues for the Northern games away.

For pubs QPR is not the best place for a beer. There is a spoons on Shepherds Bush green that let's away fans in, but the pubs past the green on the main road towards the ground were quite strong on home fans only.

I get mine and my son's ticket so we can sit next to each other
