Or the opposite try and keep it tight back to basics kind of week, sort of thing Curbs used to do every now and then after a rare heavy defeat.se9addick said:Queue a reaction from QPR next Saturday.0 -

If we can get an early goal it could turn the home support toxic.se9addick said:Queue a reaction from QPR next Saturday.1 -
If only football worked so that when a team lose 7-1, we turn up and give them another beating. Stephan is still without a win as QPR boss: 1-1 home draw with Preston, 3-2 EFL Cup defeat at Plymouth, 2-1 loss at Watford, then yesterday’s humiliation. On Twitter, one QPR fan wrote: “Bin Stephan NOW and get in a Championship experienced head coach, a tough git who actually wants to win.” If we can grab an early goal, QPR fans will turn toxic 100%, we’ve been there ourselves with Appleton most recently.letthegoodtimesroll said:

I'd happily take a 1-0 smash and grab win like Leicester did against us.
You just know there's going to be a reaction as very few teams lose by such a huge margin 2 weeks on the bounce, bar Sheffield Utd in the Premier League that time where they lost 6-0 to Arsenal then 5-0 to Burnley.2 -
Another thing that bothers me is they clearly are not going to sell out in this game and we could of easily sold out that entire "School End" as their fan appear to call it. 1800 tickets for a game where we could easily of sold 3000.2

Or us when we lost 5-0 to Huddersfield and 6-0 to Hull.Char1t0n said:I'd happily take a 1-0 smash and grab win like Leicester did against us.

Looking for a spare. Naby’s equaliser last time we met at Loftus Rd was a favourite Charlton moment for me.DM if you happen to have one (or even two).

Anyone going from Strood (or nearby) to QPR? What is looking like the best route? I know you can use TFL/Google but prefer a recommended route please 😁?0
-
If using public transport from Strood, 17/47 past the hour direct trains to Abbey Wood change to Elizabeth Line.Ultimatum said:Anyone going from Strood (or nearby) to QPR? What is looking like the best route? I know you can use TFL/Google but prefer a recommended route please 😁?
Elizabeth line connects with Central Line at Liverpool St, Tottenham Court Rd or Bond St, Central Line to White City or change at Farringdon catch a Hammersmith & City Line train to Wood Lane or Shepherds Bush Market.1 -
Lovely that was sort of my plan. Appreciate it!clive said:

I suggest if you want to go and watch the match, just buy some tickets from their website and go in the home end. Ok you might not be able to celebrate and soak up the atmosphere with our fellow fans, but you wouldn't be able to if you were watching it on TV either. That's what's really annoying, they won't sell out, yet they refused to give us more tickets.JamesSeed said:Looking for a spare. Exactly what Watford could say about us for the 1st game of the seasonChar1t0n said:

We gave them the entire South Stand, over 3000 tickets; I get where you're coming from, just annoying when we could easily of sold 3k for this game.JohnnyH2 said:

Loftus Road holds 18,439 they would never give us 3,000+ tickets. Same for any team with a smaller ground just because we can offer 3,000+ doesn’t mean we can expect similar back.Char1t0n said:

If they can’t sell the ground out then why shouldn’t they give us 3k ? The money for those extra tickets sold at the prices they charge would surely come in handy. If, for instance, it’s because they think 3k is too many away fans then perhaps we should reciprocate and just let them have the same number they’ve given us.0 -
What would be the point in only giving them say 800 tickets in the JSS leaving about 2,400+ unsold? Just leaving revenue on the table just to try and play tit for tat.letthegoodtimesroll said:MartinCAFC said:

Who says they won't sell out? As I've said before they have season ticket holders in the botom stand now2
-
I have a spare adult for Saturday, face value.0
-
Look at their website and see the amount they have left, no way they're selling out between now and the weekend, especially after getting thumped 7-1 on Saturday.bolloxbolder said:Who says they won't sell out? As I've said before they have season ticket holders in the botom stand now0
