Attendance 16,875, capacity 18,439
was the lower tier full on Saturday ? It didn’t look like there were that many empty seats in the other 3 sides of the ground where the home fans were.0 -
You know when stadiums were designed back then, were people just a foot shorter on average?
I never understand how crammed in football stadiums feel. The average football fan is an unathletic bloke, but the chairs are so close you can barely move your arms, your knees touch people's backs.
Same as when I get on trains, I always think about the seat size, its like its defined for 8 stone and below people.

Plenty of leg room in the safe standing bit at the back of the away end on saturday
I just couldn’t see the goal line, I suspect that’s the restricted view bit 😂1 -
The safe standing set up in that part of the ground was weird, just do the lot, instead of finishing halfway down the row!0

I sat on the halfway line and came away with a new aesthetic appreciation for LR as a ground. Would absolutely hate it as a fortnightly experience though. The concourses are impossible - makes any half time rush/queue at the Valley seem like nothing.0

We stood in front of our allotted seats, for a change. TBH, that ground is so tight and non fan-friendly in design it would have been a real pain in the arse to try and find seats elsewhere, more so by the time we left the pub and got into the ground.killerandflash said:

With people being able to pick their seats and there being FOUR different prices depending on where you sat, I think it was justifiable for people to insist on having their chosen seat.letthegoodtimesroll said:

No, but they had terraces didn’t they? My ticket said I stricted view so was cheaper. There was no obstruction to my view. Happy days.0 -

I saw Apter mishit his volley into the ground, watched it bounce up slowly out of my view.
I thought it was heading wide but was sure at that pace somebody would have time to clear.
Couldn't believe it when the "yessssss" crescendo started.
