First game for me and I can't bloody wait.
Do think if we score first, we could run out comfortable winners as half the team have had heads turned and some maybe a bit past it. If they start Vestergaard and Faes then TC/Olaofe will have a field day getting in behind them. That said, they should win most of the battles in the air.
Personally would rest Kelman and bring him on at the 60 minute mark regardless of how we are doing. Start Leaburn for some physicality.
If you said we had a chance against a relegated team, I would have laughed in disbelief but here we are! COYR
Charlton 2 - Foxes 0 ( Leaburn and L.Jones)5 -
Our morale will be higher than theirs and maybe they’re still suffering from last season but they are decent all over the pitch. We’ll be in their faces from the off but need to get our noses in front I think. Be great not to lose so I’d take a draw now. 1 - 13

I'm as positive as the rest of everyone else with us appearing to settle well in the championship and Leicester in a little dissarray (from an outsider looking in), which will prob mean a 0-3 humbling but just don't see us conceding that many at home and fancy us to score.
The binary boys to contunue 1-0.

Guard against disrespect and complacency.
If things go a bit awry early on, remember we are a second half team, so never give up.
Other hopes are that we kick the ‘right way’.
I believe that if we score first we will probably win, but if Leicester score first they wouldn’t necessarily be probable winners.2 -

This is the last time we played Leicester, a 3-0 defeat in March 2014. A ridiculously good Leicester side, with the likes of Schmeichel, Morgan, Schlupp, Mahrez, Drinkwater, James and Vardy starting, and Chris Wood coming off the bench!
The current Leicester team is a shadow of that side, and feels like a club on the decline, with the last of its icons gone (Vardy), its better players wanting to leave, and a slightly uninspiring managerial appointment in Cifuentes.1 -
Unbeaten at home since 1996 and won 5 of the last 6 at The Valley against them. Think that record continues after Saturday1

This is the test - if we can get a draw it would be excellent - A win and we are actually becoming a decent force in this division.
Another packed Valley - Another rock solid defence performance.
I'm loving these early kick offs as it means I can watch the games live.
I'm desperate for a win in truth but would be pleased with a draw.

I fancy us ..they are everything we are not .We are a club/team on the up ,brimming with confidence and well organised. They are a club with issues on and off the pitch.I expect us to give them a damn good game COYA !2

I wasn't that confident about this game but having read their forum they are a mess by the soundsof it and their fans don't hold out much hope.
1-0 win ( Kelman )1 -
Early goal would be very helpful as think the Leicester fans will turn quickly.10

I always fondly remember 1st home game back in the Championship with Powell as manager was vs Leicester. Was such a great match and atmosphere. Strangely I thought we drew that game but I just looked it up and we won 2-1. Hopefully the same again!2

Another bloody early start ... booo!!!!
(That's me having to leave on Saturday, not FA's preview making an appearance)
Our defence is solid and our counter-attacking off half-back with RApter, Edwards and Carey will cause the Foxes problems all game.
2-0 win to Charlton, a goal in each half ... no idea who's scoring (and frankly, who cares?)1 -

Fancy us for this. Playing them at the right time of the season and there seems to be a lot of issues there. Just about beat Sheffield Wednesday on the opening weekend (their goal scorer cupped his ears to his own fans after their winner) and got beat by Preston last week. Their fans also look on the edge. If we get the first goal it could turn into a very toxic away end. I'm going for a classic Nathan Jones 1-0 win1

Got a very good feeling about this one, think they're going through the motions and we are playing them at the right time.
They struggle on the wings and that's our strength.
I reckon we will smash them to pieces,
1 nil Charlton, Kelman.1 -
2-0 Charlton. Kelman to break his duck and Leaburn to score.1
