Tough one this. I know they’re in a bit of a mess following relegation, and they could be about to lose one of their better players to Palace, but I think we have to show something going forward in this one and should try to take the game to them.
If we won I’d be over the moon. If we drew I wouldn’t be disappointed. I think QPR next week is a fixture we’ll be up for and of the two, I fancy that one more than this for some reason
Yeah man we need to hit them like we did Huddersfield at the valley last season , or Wycombe away , relentless attacking from the start
Unbeaten at home since 1996 and won 5 of the last 6 at The Valley against them. Think that record continues after Saturday
Like many others on here, I was at that 1996 game which was the very early version of the Martin O'Neil side that would go on such a great run. The thing that stands out most from that game is that a very young Emile Heskey tore Matty Jackson a new one from the left wing, and our midfield was totally outclassed by Neil Lennon and Muzzy Izzett, both of whom would go on to have great careers.
If i hadn't read anything this week about their players attitudes / the want aways etc, i'd be thinking this one might be where we fall short but now i'm going into it thinking anything's possible - another couple of victories and it could be 10 years before we see millwall fan on here again.
Looking at ticket availability in the lower north, the key section of the ground players are up close and personal with, that’s in their faces when they attack and defend the Covered End, there are just 68 tickets left at this moment. It’s important we fill and make a lot of noise in all stands but more so in the lower north because there’s no hiding from that stand if it’s full and noisy.
I’m getting seriously concerned about my state of mind. I’m normally over optimistic when it comes to predicting our results but now I seem to be in the minority that thinks we will do well to get a point on Saturday lol
tbh it’s quite unnerving all this positivity on here lol
Another tough encounter that i you have to be realistic and say Leicester must be fav … but this is Charlton at the valley, draw would be fantastic a win unbelievable … can we do it cause we can COYR ……. Team Olaofe for Campbell .. Kelman needs support and balls to his feet or where he can use his pace.. one thing the Leicester defence look weak is the ball down the channels …
Quietly confident as they're not looking great and we've got positive momentum. Having said that, this could quite easily be the game that gives us a reality check.
1992 at Upton Park, Leicester bought thousands. So many fans that KO delayed and they had to open the chicken run. A couple of their songs were played over the tannoy to keep them happy, blue balloons everywhere, one of their fans on the pitch with a beach ball and scoring a goal (Bent wasn’t the first!). They were all over us. Mametz and I were sitting right behind our bench when Curbs got up and shouted our captain to come to the touch line. ”this will be interesting, to actually get to hear the tactics. What an insight “ I said. As he approached, Curbs cupped his hands to his mouth and shouted “SORT. IT. OUT.” We did and won 2-0. A great day, and their fans were outstanding that day.

That would be a very good afternoon's work
They should see and hear a good atmosphere!

Interesting to hear and read from Leicester fans who don't seem to have much confidence at all.
Shows how fast the football playing field can change when only two seasons ago they won the league, and we almost got relegated.
