    Flawless.
  • A great signing for us - obviously went under the radar for a long time.

He always looks several steps ahead of the oppo.

Shame that, despite being one of our better players, half the fan base still thinks he is called Ramsey or just can't be bothered to spell his name correctly.

He isn't Ramsey, that's not his name any more than Ventokele was our Belgian striker.

In a thread more or less dedicated to saying how great he is and how its a shame he hasn't signed a longer contract at least we can spell his name correctly

Kayne Ramsay. 2 A's in his second name.

I think others have rightly said, if you had to pick one player from the squad, mostly likely to play in the prem, it's him.

I was always concerned that he seemed to want to punish the attacker, for daring to try to get past him, by attacking him back once he won the ball.
I was sure he would make a mistake and give a goal away sooner or later in doing this.
But now I realise he is a class above...

For a defender, the piece of skill 20 seconds in is absolutely ridiculous and so subtle that few might have missed it.

Just take care of those medial ligaments, Kayne!

I didn't even need to watch the video to know what you were referring to, I think I was more impressed with the accuracy and power on the clearance which was actually a well directed pass. These sort of performances will only drive his price up, think he'll be in the Prem next season.

Football is back, so are Ramsay's highlights.
Did have to laugh there at him including a highlight of him clearing the ball from in front of the goal, which started juuuust after the bit where he completely whiffed a clearance and is lucky there weren't any Watford players on hand to poke the ball in. I see he lives dangerously on the highlights as well as the pitch

Let’s enjoy him this season, gonna take another promotion to get that contract renewed.
With a sale comes a decent fee as he’ll still have a year left.
I’d imagine contract talks will start pretty soon so that he doesn’t enter that period of his contract
I'd like to think he's already been offered something. You should never ever let one of your main players enter the final 2 years of their contract.

A very assured player and enjoyable to watch especially when he bursts through with the ball.

Ramsay's our first player who can pick up the ball deep and carry it through the lines since the box to box version of Aribo. Given both players helped win us promotions I feel there's a lesson there somewhere.

    Flawless.
Not quite, he had an air shot in his own 6 yard box in the second half to prove to us all that he is still human after all, but recovered well from it :)
  • Hopefully we’re already in talks with him over a new deal 🤞🏼
  • Let him write his own contract

    Flawless.

Except for the swing and a miss when standing in front of Kaminski 😃down the Jimmy Seed end.

Get him on an extended, improved, contract asap. If he hasn’t already been noticed by scouts higher up the pyramid, it’s a matter of time before he will be. Absolute mustard.

Stick a £10m+ price tag on him and see if anyone sniffs around in January.

Will be Premier League next season if he keeps his form up all year.

If he was a Left-Back, I'd say that he had a slim chance of playing for England, if he keeps up this arch with his career and ends up as a more than solid Premier League player.

To be fair if you needed a Walker replacement in that RCB position....

Would be the perfect partner for Alexander-Arnold at RWB.

    Ridiculously good, but not surprised.

If we can’t get him on a new and  longer deal I think we’ll need to get promoted to keep him.

If we have to sell him next summer we need to behave like a Championship club and get a big fee. I don’t want to read nonsense that he’s worth “£2-3m max”.

Easily our most valuable asset at the moment. No doubt NJ and the board want him to have a new contract, just need to agree it with him

    Totally astronomical footballer.

Genuinely he's going to the Prem next season. The only way he is staying with us is if we go up, because he is top tier.
