Seems NJ was happy for him to not be involved in the run-in.5 -
Also confirms he was the most expensive outlay.0

NJ played Ahadme, Godden and Leaburn in two matches together and it was a disaster of a formation.
I have always said it's Nathan Jones gig and he works on a daily basis at Sparrows and we don't but that was the one time I really doubted NJ before the first time with that front formation and after the Second time he tried the same thing.
He got there in the end which showed that Jones learnt from his mistakes and arrived at a formation that worked with a strong defence and just the one number 9 in a central position Godden, with TC, Small or Edwards in wider positions not 6ft 5in strikers going wide.

I hear you Dessie but isn't it more:
"Please take but you will have to carry on paying the direct debit for three years 🤦🏻♂️"2 -
In terms of money outlay he has been one of the poorest signings of recent years and he has some fierce competition in that regard!
As another said - on the flip side we signed an absolute gem in Josh Edwards from the second tier in Scotland. Perhaps we should redouble our scouting interests in that area going forward.1 -

I'd not be surprised if there was, also Ahadme trousering an increase if we get promoted.

Perhaps Ronald can confirm this, he knows his stuff.

Wonder if Jacko would take him at the Wombles? They've got a few gaps to fill with loan players going back and players being sold.2

Good luck to him, hope he does well enough to earn a permanent move somewhere.11
-
Decent move for him all things considered, both NJ and JR have mentioned him having lots of injuries over the past season and I don't think we were given the full story on some of them, hope for his, and our, sake he goes there, scores some goals and raises his stock4
-
I remember Cambridge fans saying they liked him, but were surprised we signed him because his ceiling is mid-table L1. Now he's gone to Stevenage, that stands up.
I think we'll be loaning him out for the remainder of his contract because nobody will pay him what we're paying him.5 -
At least he will get a game. Good luck to him.3
-
Thank f*** for that.4

I think in the right set up he can do well but I don't think that is us, especially now we're in the championship.
I hope he stays fit and ge does well for them. Remember he'll still have two years left on his contract next summer2 -
Alex Revell: “Welcome Ghassan. We look forward to having you join us. You got anywhere you prefer to operate up top.”
