The rain saves us because we really shouldn't be happy with 72-2 in these conditions. You have to make them play and too many balls have been wasted by a couple of our bowlers having no line and length whatsoever.1

Cook's more like 80mph and these conditions would have been ideal for him. You don't take 327 wickets at 20.45 with an economy rate of 2.67 without having the ability to have the ball on a string. Anderson was that pace at the end of his career.wmcf123 said:

The reason I suspect that he hasn't been picked is that they see no long term future in playing him, specifically with the Ashes in mind, although the same can be said of Overton who doesn't have anywhere near the record of Cook in the CC.2 -

This is where it gets frustrating when you're at a game, as one heavy shower effectively means a 2 hour delay. And you just know that as soon as the players return, it'll start raining again.0
