Huddersfield properly going for it. If they get Leonard too they should really Birmingham the league.
They really went for it last year. How did that end for them

The literal translation of his name is

    Heart Helper Fortunate Rice Field

Anyone got a good chant for that?

10th, various owner tirades on Twitter , a sacked sporting director who fell out with the fans and about £3.75m spent on 2 strikers in January who scored 2 in 22.

It turned out that selling their best defender in January turned out to be more important than the 2 strikers they brought in.

Yeah Fukuda is such a random one and he sounds a brilliant fit for NJ’s team that it definitely has legs. Do we wanna gamble on spending millions on some one from the other side of the world and a very different culture? Might be too much of a gamble.

That's enough about the Scottish lads!

If you’re quick on the word ‘fortunate’ it will go into ‘Chrissie Powell’s red and white army’.

That’s no use, we are terrible at speeding up chants

This signing from the far East feels like it will end in disappointment after it could've been an 'under the radar' signing which would've made the 'Guru' happy after only Sonny Carey so far has entered the building in this window without every Charlton fan and their Auntie already being ITK.

Definitely would be a feel good factor at the Valley if Fukuda signed but now the story has broken it may be best to temper our premature ejaculation unless we see Shinnosuke with penny or Scarfy at Sparrows or Happy Valley.

I must say that Celtic nearly always get decent players from the J league.

Better refrain from posting any pictures of trains and associated rolling stock then, I mean, even a tram could push some over the edge....

Are these clues that we’re signing Michael Gash and Jack Grimmer?

They drive on the left in Japan, so that would help one aspect of life easier to adjust to.

Its a weird one this deal. He is a free agent come January 2026 which I suspect is why we initially opted for a loan to buy deal. Hard to sanction buying someone for circa 800k when we can get him for free come Jan. That said we need a natural right back!!

What are the rules with negotiating with players in Asia whose deals are running down? Is it still 6 months like it would be if he played in Europe?

Makes me think our “bid” was a loan bid with a reasonable a loan fee rather than option to buy and when it was rejected we’ve moved on. Would be crazy paying £800k for a player with six months left on his contract. Come January when he can talk to other clubs he’ll no doubt have more suitors. I’ll file this one under exciting while it lasted.

Currently clubs are paying into the £millions for season long plans. It's now equivalent of a transfer fee.

You'll probably find this has been going on for a long time now.
