    Gloucs shot themselves in the foot , the first time in a good few years I've seen the pressure get to David Payne. 

    Also Jordan Cox smashed 139* for Essex tonight.

    There are so many potential avenues to disappointment but wouldn't it be nice if it all fell into place for once?

    Besides rain coming sooner than expected, if Kent win, they ought to be there as Sussex are unlikely to beat Surrey.

    Good to see a complete home grown Spitfires X1 tonight. No mercenaries, Well, as long as you don’t count Grant Stewart (Aus / Italy) and Fred Klaassen (Ned). But they’re all ours.
