Right in the middle of an ODI series so no Buttler,Salt, Livingstone potentially no Mahmood. I'd say you've got one hell of a chance especially if England gave you Zak.
Good to see a complete home grown Spitfires X1 tonight. No mercenaries, Well, as long as you don’t count Grant Stewart (Aus / Italy) and Fred Klaassen (Ned). But they’re all ours.
Finch from Sussex, Evison Notts, Parky Lanc, Mueye Zimbabwe via Sussex, Gilchrist Zimbabwe, SA via Somerset, Leaning Yorkshire, the only home-grown players were DBD, Denly and Billings.

And those three are a soon to 32 (DBD), 39 and 34 respectively. We've had a bit of a gap in the last decade but, to be fair, we do have Crawley (England) and O'Riordan (been injured all season) and "lost" both Cox and Robinson. Hopefully the likes of Jas, Jaydn, Ekansh and Dawkins will come through as regulars. A couple of others that might make the grade are the Oliver Butterfil (spinning all rounder) and Oliver Curtiss (seamer all rounder), .

Haha. Fair cop! But I hope you got my meaning: none of this season’s rather average overseas signings (Agar, Rogers and Ali) were included, and didn’t deserve to be.

Glamorgan 2s are currently 22-6 against Kent in a 4-day Championship match. A few interesting things - Leaning, Gilchrist and Kashif Ali are playing which suggests that they won't be in the squad for the 1s match against Glamorgan starting tomorrow unless they intending to travel from this match in Abergavenny after today to Cardiff and that Mikey Cohen has just come on to bowl.
Just confirmed that Gilchrist is joining Warwickshire next season.
Kent’s Director of Cricket, Simon Cook said: “We’re disappointed that Nathan has chosen to not sign a new contract here and move to Warwickshire, but we wish him all the very best for the future.
“He will always be welcome back at The Spitfire Ground.”
More Olllie Robinson that reaction than Jordan Cox from us.
To me Gilchrist is someone who's still to really fulfil his potential.
Totally agree but he is our leading wicket taker in the CC with 23 wickets in 6 games. Next is Stewart with 15 wickets from 7 matches. In consigning him to the 2s we are making a statement that we have moved on and preparing for next season with the announcement of the re-signing of Dudgeon clearly geared to soften the blow of losing Gilchrist.

But listening to you lot cheering for Surrey is priceless 🤣🤣
Sitting in a German bar, watching Sussex lose to Surrey on YouTube, does make you question your life choices
As an aside, that last over from Jordan was rubbish really. Or are full tosses the way to bowl at the death
Surrey Vs Northants
Durham Vs Hampshire
Lancs Vs KENT
Somerset Vs Birmingham.
More posts about the Surrey game on here than the Kent one. And I didn't even post on here.
