What are Kent's batters fannying about at?
Only 550 runs off 150 overs on a road
Surrey have taken 740 off Durham in their 150 overs so far? 🤣😂

Need to declare now and have a burst at Notts's knackered batters before tea.
Triple Ton for Sibley 😂 people will want him back in the international fold next

    820-9 declared at The Oval...

Matthew Potts 0-105, not helping his England hopes. Drissell finishes with 1-247  :D

Only the insomniacs albeit I expect he might go a bit faster now than when he was in the Test side previously. He'd have to too because a SR of 34.22 doesn't really cut it.

Nah I think his ship has well and truly sailed internationally. It would be interesting to see what they would do if Zak or Ben got a injury. Just as likely to see Jamie Smith open as they are to give Haines or McKinney a look.

I think they will do anything to get Bethell in the side and that includes opening. He, more or less, had to do that job in the Windies.

Had a great day down at Canterbury yesterday and delighted to see meaningful first innings contributions from all Kent's batsmen.

Jaydn was looking good seemed the ball that got him lifted a bit more than he anticipated and he got a fatal touch.

Singh looked good and played some great shots. Shame about the (unintentional presumably) jug avoidance. He deserved a 50. Again there appeared to be a little more lift than anticipated. Similar to Jaydyn's dismissal in that respect.

Deserved cap and contract for Ben Compton. We were told Grant Stewart was going to be capped too but that didn't happen for whatever reason.

3 batting points good for us!

If true then there could be two reasons for that. Either that they didn't want two bits of good news released simultaneously (more impact drip feeding it especially when used to offset some bad news about a player leaving) or they want to wait until such time as a new contract is agreed by all parties concerned.

It would also make more sense to give Grant his cap in a game he's playing in, which could be on Friday in the Blast.

I'm on my way down. I'm expecting a long day of toil in the field, but a lot depends on Parky. With no Leaning or Denly snr, Jaydn might get a few overs.

Sales run out, which on a batting paradise day is a bit careless  :D
