Yeah. Was surprised they sent him and Santner ahead of Sykes but they obviously wanted experience out there.MarcusH26 said:cantersaddick said:
Credit to him. He's probably never been in that situation before and he and Billings played it well keeping Evans from the strike. But it was just CJ's day after his bowling performanceMarcusH26 said:CJ does it for Surrey off the last ball. Thought Parkinson bowled that last over excellently and did everything right. Did well to get Evans off strike.
CJ is such a frustrating player!!! Seen him absolutely choke situations like that over the years for Sussex. But then he has nights like tonight where he shows what a difference maker he can be.
Are you by any chance the same Marcus H that used to write Surrey previous and maybe run a Surrey website or something?0 -
Actually 7 I forgot Atkinson.cantersaddick said:

But try telling their fans that !killerandflash said:Surrey might have all the superstar players, massive budget and The Oval.
But at least Kent have our own thread
( Of course, I'm not bitter....)0 -
Won't get the plaudits in the same way but that 4 overs 4-10 from Jordan including 18 dot balls in a fairly high scoring game is every bit as good as the 34 ball hundred from Sean Abbott 2 years ago.0

Guy in front of me was sat next to two attractive young women, he did not look at the pitch all evening chatting to them ... I mean get a room or take them to the pub.The Equaliser said:Was there tonight, have to say the crowd where I was sitting had no Interest in the game whatsoever until the last over when they stopped eating and chatting for 3 hours to face the pitch for 2 minutes, great game for those paying attention
Getting into the ground was a mare, buses were diverted away from the ground with no warning and long queues to get in at 6.30pm0 -
Yeah it's either hit or miss with CJ in those situations! Some games it comes off sending him up the order to finish the job and others it doesn't.cantersaddick said:

Nope that's not me , I've lived in Sussex basically my whole life so I'm not a Surrey fan

To be fair , there was a large number of attractive females in attendance last night , found it hard to concentrate on the cricket myself (!)Kap10 said:

Somerset have won the toss and inserted a Kent side containing 8 seamers if one were to include DBD and Finch, 2 part time offies and the keeper and captain, Billings.0

That Somerset shirt is horrific, what's with the collar that makes it look like it doesn't fit anyone?2
-
Looks like the team have travelled in the Charlton bus which won't help our injury record I'm sure

It's raining boundaries with DBD and Muyeye really testing Somerset's bowling and fielding!
144-0 off 12
DBD 46* (28)
Muyeye 91* (44)

As great as this partnership is, the worry for me is that the bowler who has restricted us most is their spinner, Lewis Gregory.0

100* off 48 balls for DBD2

Not sure I would have sent Leaning in now. Why not the left hander Rogers or big hitter Stewart?0
