Cohen has gone past Chuks, and is in Cory Gibbs territory now.1

Anyone watching the stream tonight....once it starts ?0

I will off and on Fanny. Interesting that Gloucs have put us in but even more interesting is that we've opted to open with Muyeye and DBD presumably because Crawley will only be available for four games and we want a settled opening partnership.Fanny Fanackapan said:Anyone watching the stream tonight....once it starts ?1 -

Kent win by 4 runs though the margin of victory didn't really reflect our superiority in the game.
With Agar to come in, we should be even stronger for our next match.4 -
Phew ! Didn't REALLY think we'd lose but it got a bit squeaky b*m time in the final couple of overs....
A very good match for the neutrals though.
Looking forward to our first live match next Friday against the auld enemy.
It's looking a very decent squad as long as the injury curse doesn't strike once again.2 -
I've only just caught up with the last day or so of this thread - I forgot Kent were playing yesterday.
A win?! Wow. Never saw that coming after the County Championship performances of recent weeks.
It's amazing how we're perfectly capable of scoring over 200 in 20 overs in a white ball game but change it to a red cherry and we're lucky to get a batting point ... or even last 20 overs!
I guess it's a mentality thing in that players are more attuned to the "hit and giggle" approach of T20 but can't value patience in a four-day game (maybe we need Russell Slade in the batting coaching side?).
All of a sudden I'm not dreading my annual outing to Chelmsford in a few weeks' time quite so much. I'm not suggesting for one minute we'll win, we just won't lose quite so badly!3 -
And I know this is a grown-up thread unlike everywhere else on CL but ...Addick Addict said:
