I believe Rogers is here for the Blast Group stages and Agar is available for that and the CC up to the end of July.moutuakilla said:Is Rogers with us for the whole Blast?1 -
Garrett in for Jaydn who picked up a side strain when fielding against Gloucs. Six seamers in the 13.

Have Kent inherited Charlton’s previous fitness team ?2 -
Derbyshire won the toss and we will bowl first1 -
I knew that he was travelling but Joe Denly wasn't even in the 13!!! Looks like he's opening and has replaced his nephew in the side with Parkinson playing instead of Kashif Ali.1
-
Joe playing is a pleasant surprise, but you wonder how rusty he will be .2
-
Meanwhile Sam Billings is in the 2s playing T200
-
Will struggle to do much worse than most of ours have performed this summer.killerandflash said:Joe playing is a pleasant surprise, but you wonder how rusty he will be .2 -
Going in with three seamers, especially as one of those has a history of being injured, seems somewhat risky.0

63-0 (12)0

106-1 (31) at lunch. Wicket to Gilchrist. The disappointing aspect of that is not just the one wicket but the 20 extras.1
-
172-1 (50)
This bowling attack isn't bowling anyone out on this pitch especially with no overseas to offer a different challenge.2 -
But Kashif hasn't looked particularly effective when he has played. The loss of Dudgeon hit us badly.Addick Addict said:172-1 (50)

I agree with you there and made the point previously about how expensive his wickets have been. Playing him again given he has been the only fixture in our seam attack would probably have been counter-productive. We've gone bat heavy so hopefully that balance will be justified.LenGlover said:

Jewell and Crane indulging greedily on the sumptuous buffet served up Kent's "attack" at Derby0
-
Imagine we don’t get first inning runs in this, think that will be me with this club this season0
-
Ball ran out Came on his follow through from Jewell's drive
315-21 -
Embarrassing1

No bowling points for Kent. Derbyshire 483-4 at lunch.1

Derbyshire now 587-5.
Leaning our most successful bowler with 2 wickets but expensive.
Looks like Ball could be injured as his figures show a part over only.1 -
Derbyshire declared on 587-5.
Kent now 41-1 Joe Denly went for 3 in his first innings of the season at first team level.1 -
50s for DBD and Compton so far 123/12
-
Another ton for Compo, 210-36
-
And so the fear is fulfilled. Let's hope he isn't out for the game because we will have just two seamers should we have to bowl again.Addick Addict said:Going in with three seamers, especially as one of those has a history of being injured, seems somewhat risky.0 -

Now the football season is finally over, I can concentrate on following Kent.
