Fair question and post all of this there needs to be a grown up conversation with the club, trust and fans reps as to how to address a number of the failings throughout this and the semis
its been too stressful, the news delayed and too often fellow fans on here doing a sterling job of helping out others - it’s good we have a strong sense of community in that respect but in terms of growth, for the club it lets them down.
they have, I’m sure, the staff worked tirelessly behind the curtains, but how much of their effort is because of poor processes.
There have been levels of demand quite unlike before and for that, getting more allocation and generally getting tickets out so people can relax and not panic is much needed next time

My guess is the club know the website will struggle with only 1400 tickets so they're waiting to see if they can get more on sale at once
As a further update, you are able to view what seats they have available without being logged in. They have almost sold out and only have a handful of seats available in 122, 121, 117, 202 and 222 at present.
Based on that, I wouldn't expect us to be getting a lot more tickets any time soon.

It does seem that Wembley are making this process deliberately complicated. You'd think that Wembley would want to sell as many as possible and if that was the case then they need to inform their customers.

Even if Orient are close to selling out 36k, that'll still only around 74k seats that have been sold (inc. the extra 1,400 that we've been given, and will no doubt go in about five minutes).
Each team could therefore be easily given another 5k each, which would match the FA Cup Final attendance.

They have sold out the first two tiers, which is all they have been given at this point (they may also have been given seats in the third tier at the far east end, but I cannot confirm this).
They will be able to sell seats in the third tier at some point due to having sold out their blocks in the first two tiers so quickly.
If we get seats in top tier above Orient will fans cross over at access/exit?
The tiers have unconnected concourses, so that's ok. Entrance turnstiles won't be shared, but could overlap. But we shall all be travelling to the ground together so I don't see why that should be an issue. That said, the whole situation is baffling me, so who knows what the hold up is!

My personal experience of Leyton Orient fans are that they are a cut above, and only a miniscule percentage pugnacious. Far more of them are down to earth and loyal to their club. I also believe that back in the days of standing the wit on the terraces at both the Valley and Brisbane Road were the best in London. Much better than the hectoring attitude of Fulham, Crystal Palace, and every other London club bar possibly Brentford. From my point of view the only thing that raises a smile from Millwall fans is seeing others getting hurt. I would be surprised if there is conflict between and genuine Charlton or Leyton Orient fans on Sunday.

I can’t believe how shoddy this ticketing process is . This isn’t the first time one team will have 30k ish and the other team can potentially sell 50k ish . Surely there’s a process they go through and as one team nears the last 5k of tickets they have(time dependent as in how near to kick off they get to these numbers) they then request more , if available , they then get released and the whole process should be reasonably smooth and it keeps the tickets available and stops panic/attempting to buy in the other end . segregation will be in place in each tier and it’s just a process of see where sales of seats are late on and after Saturdays Match move the barriers/netting/door closures etc along to accommodate the next fixture it’s not rocket science , are there just fuckwits everywhere in this world or am I missing something that’s making this whole process so difficult/farcical. Also with print at home/show on phone , why have they not gone out immediately, it’s not like those tickets where the QR code or whatever the fuck it is keeps changing . Bang the fuckers out with the email confirmation because they will surely have been allocated a seat and make the whole process less stressful for Joe Public .

This calls into question how many tickets are kept back for sponsors etc etc. As there are 90,000 tickets available in theory. So an initial allocation of 40,000 for both clubs would work. The club can't foresee everything and be ready with a plan a/b/c/d just in case anything may or may not happen.
Personally, think we can look back and say the club did well with the final on chosen phases, the online booking process etc.
Understandably, there's frustration from the hundreds (thousands?) that haven't yet got tickets, but again that returns us to the levels of demand that has arisen since the tickets went on sale at the weekend.
In 98 I am pretty sure we shared the toilets with Sunderland fans where we were close together !

Agreed - and there wouldn't have been in 2019 either. To be honest I don't expect there's a need against Orient either but the authorities would see it differently.
There's no segregation outside the stadium anyway. Last summer England's first group game was against Serbia and there was a heavy Police presence (not that they did anything to avoid the dangerous overcrowding when leaving the Gelsenkirchen Stadium) as they were expecting trouble. Total segregation in the stadium but we all walked in together - and not a sniff of trouble.
Orient now has seats in Block 501 on sale, so it looks like they're selling the western seats in the northern side of the eastern half first, then going round.
Presumably our extra seats are from blocks 526 and going east of this.

1) duplicated payments taken, and reversed 2) 2025/26 tickets not held for purchase 3) unclear/in operative ‘purchase my season ticket seat option’ 4) knowing well in advance that we’d secured play offs and yet, not pre advising the process for the home leg sale which was not wholly dependent on the opposition 5) a whole move to print at home tickets for Wembley, unspecified holds on issuing, in part due to a 1 minute delay to publicised kick off 6) again, the 1,400 tickets and asking for more - this should among now a week out between clubs, Wembley, efl and police know what can and can’t be accommodated
so Yes, there are failings, they’re not entirely unfair in their assessment and the demand aspect also relates to ourselves too I think we’ve all been surprised not just the club but for it to be capitalised on properly by the club they need to react quickly
