  • Agree, but it’s long since known so why are they sitting on the info
  • I keep reading about how TC & Small will love Wembley's open space & so I've just checked pitch dimensions ( in yards)

    Wembley is 115 x 75
    CAFC    is  112 x 73

So Wembley is 2 yards wider.....so a yard more either side. And 3 yards longer......so 1.5 yards longer each end.

Hardly any difference & not enough for our wide men to be relishing the "open space" that wembley supposedly gives.
5.5% bigger is pretty significant imo
    You’ve used that line before.
  • Definitely agree
  • Are they on sale or not? The OS  has a section to buy them,  I log in,  then it tells me to log in to purchase.

They aren’t on sale yet. They would definitely make an announcement across all their channels before putting tickets for a match at Wembley on sale!

    Not yet, no.

nothing released yet, it's not as if anyone has to physically get to the valley to collect - will all be done online and print at home.

they'll be on sale over the weekend at some point and anyone who wants one should be able to get one

Bit odd, no announcement yet? as there were only two outcomes for last couple of weeks... Wembley or bust, so presumabely the ticket office must have been in discussion with Wembley over this period and clubs comms department preparing announcements on SM....?
Unless they have IT bods in trying to fix all the gremlins on the ticket selling software, so its not another cock up when they do hit the green button to sell?

If those measurements are correct, that means the Wembley pitch is 449 square yards bigger than the Valley pitch. Simple maths.
If you think that’s not much difference, you’re off your head. 😂
  • its on there now

What does “discussion with Wembley” mean? Do you think that Wembley are having detailed conversations with all 12 clubs that make the playoffs even though 50% of them won’t actually be playing at Wembley?

People need to chill out. The announcement will come soon, it’s only about 19 hours since the semi-final finished.

Tickets for Wembley will be fine, every Charlton fan that wants one will be able to get one.
  • @Fanny Fanackapan have you tried clearing down your cache to see if that sorts out the error?
  • Less than last time then? Anyone know if that is that corporate or did we get given more last time?

  • Gone by phase 2 by all accounts then?

In 2019 we had the details in the programme for the Semi Final, be interesting to see what the difference is this time

It makes you wonder, surely ticket details would have been known shortly after we had qualified for the play-offs.  Subsequently we'd have been able to advertise in the programme and website in advance of last night.
In the short time frame of flogging the tickets the loss of a day/s is important.
We could have started selling today in my book.
  • do we reckon this will this reach phase 6 ?

    No
  • Diamond Tix locked in right next to the royal box seats. Hope we lift the trophy and am not having to endure watching Orient lifting it. 🤞🏻🙏

Even if it doesn’t, we will end up getting more tickets I’m sure. Personally I think it will make general sale.
  • Would be amazed if these didn’t make phase 6 and have a hunch Orient won’t sell all of theirs

Give the ticket office a break, they have been working overtime for the past week and some may had a late night. The tickets will be on sale tomorrow you will then have a whole week to get your tickets. RELAX.
I just want to know what time is all and makw plans to be available, all we were asking is for a SM update, you can do that while being relatively chilled.
