52,000 maximum I have heard, although not all up front.
Surely this is a case of adding 2+2 and getting 5?
With Orient being offered 37,000, the EFL wouldn't offer us ALL of the rest. They will be holding plenty back for the great and the good who have zero interest in Charlton or Orient, just prawn sandwiches and alcohol.

My guess is that our initial allocation will be the same as Orient.
I agree. I wasn’t basing it on the number Orient have. It was information from elsewhere, but unofficial.
Don’t worry I have already told all of my various group chats that we are getting 50,000 tickets and everyone seems to have calmed down a bit.

Oh FFS, I’ve already told my family of 52,000 that I’ll get them a ticket.

“The O's have been allocated 36,945 seats in the East end of Wembley Stadium. Tickets will be sold on a block-by-block basis in an order determined by Wembley Stadium.”

Given the amount of hospitality it’s doubtful we’ll be able to have as many as 52,000 eventually based on that (and accepting some hospitality could be counted).
How does selling them Block by Block work?
I assume that in each pricing category they would start at one side of the pitch (let's say the tunnel side) and work their way around to the opposite side. That way if Orient don't sell their full allocation, our allocation can just be extended on that opposite side.

I really wouldn’t get fixated with numbers: It sounds good having a high amount but once you go above 30k it’s ’loose’ fans and day outers just making up numbers.

Orient’s numbers will massively be boosted now by those thinking playing us thinking it will be a good day, which might not have been the pull had it been Wycombe.

Worth pointing that in 2019, Sunderland sold around 36k and us 38k.

So if for example Orient only sell 30k (which would be a great number for them), then you'd assume that would mean we could get to at least 44k tickets minimum.

Only sell certain blocks at a time keeping unsold blocks available for us if they can't sell them.
If you sold tickets randomly you would not be able to make any blocks available because of no segregation.

There’s now a tab for Wembley under tickets section that I’m sure wasn’t there an hour ago - but prompts me to log in, I’m already logged in

I mentioned it to show when to expect our own announcement, as previous poster was expecting something now.

I like the filter by month option. How many play-off finals are we playing in?

Orient fans are saying that they couldn't see any category 1 tickets on their forum so either, those sold out within 20 minutes, or they were never released to the club.

Double the price of the same ticket for Orient.

How does selling them Block by Block work?
If they only sell 25,000 that will mean several blocks will be kept completely empty and could be released for sale to us or the public.
The public? Are we letting in the great unwashed as well?
They’ll be held back for all the West Ham and Spurs fans.

Wembley Diamond Hospitality have already responded (same day) with a short set of questions to respond to. I have told them to cement an offer asap to save being caught between two stalls. Can get in 3 hours early and leave one hour after the game (absolutely caned…)
