Simple response : nobody knowsrememberbillybonds said:Simple question- when are they on sale and how will be notified. Putting on the website tge 2019 details very misleading
BUT my logic says to check the SM pages for updates (if you dont want to read through this thread), the club wont just decide to release 40000 tickets and not inform anyone.1 -
Very doubtful , especially if they offer us 50k +NomadicAddick said:If it is 4 per person for every ST holder, does that means there is a fair chance it won’t make general sale? Only been to a few games this season so the usual panic is setting in even though I was insisting to people just earlier this week that everyone who wanted one would get one….had no problem getting a ticket for last night and I’m just a member with history etc.
Out of interest, will we be buying tickets through the club website?
I despise Ticketmaster and the like, but seeing the disaster that ensued over the past fortnight, it might be a safer bet?1 -
Same view would be good 👌

1958 Blackburn was my guess. My mum was there.Airman Brown said:
We had a home crowd of 56.000 in 1958 for the Blackburn promotion decider. It’s anyone’s guess how many Blackburn were there, but I doubt it was five figures.HardyAddick said:If we sold 50k, that would be the largest Addicks crowd since…..?
All very large crowds for clubs who don’t get them regularly will include large numbers of extras. Whitstable took 8,000 to Wembley last week, I believe. You can’t tell me they were all previously supporters.0 -
of course the same will apply for us, with loads of Gillingham and Millwall fans wanting to go!ElfsborgAddick said:CAFCTrev said:I think Orient took 23k to Wembley for their league one final in 2014, they will probably do around the same this time.
I reckon they'll get near to 30k as a lot of West Ham will want to go.

Ok good. I’m basically just looking for people to tell me all will be OK.carly burn said:

All tickets will be sold Via Club with all tickets print at home. (as per LO Site)0

Great game that was!TellyTubby said:

You could pay £10 for early bird to guarantee entry before 11am I think it was then. I definitely remember paying and getting there when it was basically empty 😬shine166 said:
£10 no ?Leeds_Addick said:Looks like you have to pay for entry into boxpark - has that always been the case? Was there in 2019 but can't remember paying.1 -

Remember. Not all season ticket holders will buy or need four extra tickets.NomadicAddick said:

You were going so well with that comment ...guinnessaddick said:
More than the spanners if we sell them all, that will stop them going on about it. Just need to promoted and beat them.Airman Brown said:52,000 maximum I have heard, although not all up front.

Really hoping the tickets aren’t on sale tomorrow as I’m flying back from Spain and don’t want to get caught out!1

Nothing club. They can try and force whatever rivalry they want, no Charlton fan is arsed about them.Dave2l said:We'll definitely be a lot louder than orient fans.
Could this potentially lead to a more fierce and direct London derby rivalry?
Something behind the scenes might transpire, and orient could be officially added to "the list"
Fifa 2027 might eventually include them as a Charlton rival.
"The Kevin Lisbie derby"
It could originate and stem from an incredibly rude orient fan barging in and skipping a que for a pint close to Wembley
Good point.
We have high standards0 -
Didn't realise re league position and being the home team. That's great news (as much as I like the yellow kit).Isn't boxpark after the game just whoever won? Was great last time as they had the whole match replayed on the big screen.0

It’s all those extra owners we have now I suppose 😉😆Airman Brown said:52,000 maximum I have heard, although not all up front.
And yet will Charlie be there?2 -
Would imagine you'd be able to get hold of a bit somewhere matevalleynick66 said:

“The O's have been allocated 36,945 seats in the East end of Wembley Stadium. Tickets will be sold on a block-by-block basis in an order determined by Wembley Stadium.”Given the amount of hospitality it’s doubtful we’ll be able to have as many as 52,000 eventually based on that (and accepting some hospitality could be counted).2

Of course, in his Oxford shirt.valleynick66 said:

How does selling them Block by Block work?Airman Brown said:“The O's have been allocated 36,945 seats in the East end of Wembley Stadium. Surely this is a case of adding 2+2 and getting 5?Airman Brown said:52,000 maximum I have heard, although not all up front.
With Orient being offered 37,000, the EFL wouldn't offer us ALL of the rest. They will be holding plenty back for the great and the good who have zero interest in Charlton or Orient, just prawn sandwiches and alcohol.
My guess is that our initial allocation will be the same as Orient.2 -
It’s probably not one block at a time.Bedsaddick said:

I guess a London derby final v Charlton will probably attract more casual fans on their side, some West ham etc, as last time they got to Wembley they played Rotherham.se9addick said:Chris_from_Sidcup said:
Why did a lot of West Ham not go in 2014 then? Personally i can't see them selling more than 25-27k.ElfsborgAddick said:CAFCTrev said:I think Orient took 23k to Wembley for their league one final in 2014, they will probably do around the same this time.

I don't really think anyone has to worry about getting a ticket given that we will almost certainly end up with 40-45k if we want them.
I think a lot of West Ham will go, no idea what happened over a decade ago but I reckon they’ll sell ~30k this time.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Either way you’re right though, any Charlton fan who wants a ticket will get one as well probably have more than we need.
There is your answer then, the ICF have history with Rotherham so must have bottled it............

Normally at Wembley it means not relasing the upper tier, or the upper tier gantry side until the demand has been shown to be thereBedsaddick said:

If they only sell 25,000 that will mean several blocks will be kept completely empty and could be released for sale to us or the public.Bedsaddick said:

Has been in the past with zero issue. Unless all ST holders take up a full allocation and all bring 3 non st holders there will be plenty.Arsenetatters said:

We’ve got three season tickets, but I reckon we will only want our three Wembley tickets and maybe two or three more.Unlikely to be 4 per season ticket holder I guess3 -
I agree. I wasn’t basing it on the number Orient have. It was information from elsewhere, but unofficial.TellyTubby said:
