Still baffles me that with these VAR replays to the ref they show it in slow motion rather than at full speed.

Oh my, what's with the fireworks!? It's a semi final.1

PSG have looked really good since the second part of the group phase. They look a team now.0
-
Ultimately it comes down to Arteta not signing a striker0

Is it me, or is Arteta an immensely unlikable person?5

Both sets of semi finals games were excellent, to me the difference between all the teams was the saves made by the keepers of the winning sides.1

Last night has proved that PSG and Charlton are very similar in their strategy 🤔
Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe depart PSG and they now have a better all round team ✅
Dobson, CBT and May depart Charlton and they now have a better all round team ✅6 -
In his post-match press conference Arteta said "I don't think there's been a better team than Arsenal in the competition from what I have seen".
Pretty wild statement after you've just lost both legs of a semi final. They also finished 3rd in the league stage.
Ultimately whilst everyone knows they're a good side, they always fall short in big games. In 4 semi-final matches this season, they've lost all 4.
In 8 semi final games since they won the FA Cup in 2020, their record. P8 W0 D2 L6 F2 A11. And they wonder why people call them bottlers.1 -

100%
I feel gutted for the likes of Declan Rice that the striker in the January window didn't happen other than Sterling who's best days were behind him.
Arsenal and Rice with his brilliant two free kicks were superb in beating Real Madrid 3-0 at the Emirates in the Q-Final.
Jesus wept... that he couldn't be fit and the rich owners needed to replace him quickly for the long arduous season that was still ahead when he did his ACL on the 12th January; window shut 3rd February so action was needed fast.
Football does continue to evolve BUT having the option of four strikers for Man utd in Cole, Yorke, and subs Sheringham and Solskjaer won the '99' final for United in a game where they were 2nd best until the introduction from the bench.

He’s a nearly man0

As in nearly everyone hates him?4

The irony is that if they were a poor Premier team like Man utd or Spurs have been this season they could be winning a trophy with ease in the low quality UEFA Europa League 24/25.

Arsenal should be proud of their performance last night but ultimately, they didnt take their chances. Same old same old.
Turned off straight after the game but to read this morning that Arteta thinks they were the best team in the competition... lego head is absolutely delusional.
Can anyone not say PSG fully deserved to go through over the two legs?

Lego head has put down the building blocks for success but they turn into Tim Henman in semi Finals !0

PSG hit the bar, the post and missed a penalty over the 2 legs. It could've easily ended 4 or 5-1 on aggregate. Personally i think he's just trying to create a narrative they were unlucky to cover up for the fact he's failed in a semi final again.2 -

Of all the English sides, it seems Aston Villa were the ones who really threatened PSG3
