Mannion certainly believes in the autos with his "2 games to go".

I managed to get to the 4th goal before the plane started to taxi and had to cut the broadcast being a Charlton fan I half expected to see once we landed that we lost 5-4 lol
this team just has something about it I’m confident that we will get 6 points from the last 2 games let’s see where that takes us. More twists to come yet I think

Chuks walked passed us as if he knew that was his last game. By passed the bench by short cutting the hoarding.

Someone told me later they saw him talking down the road not on the team bus. Not sure how true that was.

Just seen the scuffle hand bags that leahy bloke deserves an Oscar. Should appeal. Booking at best.

Just had a scan through the match thread on the Wycombe forum and the consensus there is that Leahy ran into Chuks and then threw himself to the floor. If there is camera coverage somewhere it's likely to be rescinded.
Are the same fans still claiming that he should have been sent off? Cheating is ingrained into the club culture at Wycombe. It seems to be the way with every manager and owner that the cheating must continue.

The fans are so used to it that they are genuinely delusional enough to believe that every time they cheat it should pay off. I live close enough to Wycombe to know several fans and, when one of their players dives, despite nobody even being within 10 yards of him, they will whine for weeks about how the ref didn't give them a free kick.
So true . I remember after the game against them at home that a Wycombe fan at the station was going on about how the ref won the game for us. I told him that the reason was that they were shit.lol

Aneke’s red will not be rescinded. Sadly, he lost the plot and fully deserved to go.
Still yet to see what he did to "lose the plot", and why he "deserved to go"

Think people are losing the f**king plot with comments like this
Fact is we were 4-0 up,he should have just laughed in the guys face, reminded him of the score and walked off.

    Quite unbelievable.

How poor were Wycombe and how good were we?

I have a feeling it might not be the last time we play them this season.

Some superb goals . Anderson was immense when he came on but i do hope berry is ok because with Chuks out for three games we are very light up front.

Beat Wrexham next week and who knows? Still will need them not to win at Lincoln on the last game of the season and us to beat Burton. We can still do it.
I'll happily take two scrappy one nil wins.
Guarantee it will be scrappy whatever the result

Anyone know the 🥩 NJ had with one of the Wycombe coaching staff and refused to shake his hand at the end of the match , there’s a clip of it I’ve seen on here somewhere .
I can already picture the same fella giving NJ the Nescafé wave when they nick an injury time winner against us at Wembley

Bit difficult when he had a hold of Chuks as well though, only way he was going to be able to walk away was by doing what he did

It was a straightforward booking for both individuals

Rewatching the second goal… it wasn’t “off the training ground” in the traditional sense but it definitely feels intentional to have had Berry deep to take it, lay it off for Thierry.

LB completely ghosted into that dangerous position. And by the time he made it to the edge of the penalty area he was in the perfect place to rifle home.

Still a long shot but we beat Wrexham next week and we're at home to 20th in the table, they'll be away to 11th, on paper, and the way the 4 teams have been playing over the last few games, I'd make us more likely to win than Wrexham in those last games
Not sure about that. Burton could be fighting for their lives. But if we do score early, they will have to keep coming forward, and a chance  for us to score more and address goal difference vs other teams

Admittedly they had hold of each other for a while, then their fella feigned to walk away, suddenly ran into chucks, throwing his head back and dropped to the ground.

Nothing Chucks could have done differently at the end. Even Wycombe fans have said that Leahy regularly takes a dive.

It would be nice to get more conclusive video, but I'm quietly confident that the red will be rescinded. I don't get why some charlton fans are siding with the ref.

someone's said chuks travelled home on his own after the game, can anyone confirm?
I don’t know, but it sounds like a load of bollocks.

Edit. Unless he lives in Amersham or somewhere like that.
    Dont think he lives there

If the Orient game was the one where we thought we could seriously be in with a shout of making the play offs then i think yesterday was the one where we are now seriously thinking we will go up. To beat one promotion rival, Huddersfield 4-0 could be considered a one off but to do it again against Wycombe, and away, suggests we are good enough to win the play offs if we have to do that. We could do with Chucks red card being overturned and to steer clear of any injuries, but i think we are gonna do this, one way or another.

Don’t think anyone is siding with the ref but I just can’t see why Chuks thought it a good idea to get involved. In the end you are relying on the ref not to make the wrong decision.

You could easily say as well that the win over Huddersfield was glossed over a bit by their form, no excuses like that about yesterday... Yes Wycombe havent been as lethal in front of goal under Dodds compared to Bloomfield, but defensively they're very strong

Huddersfield's decision to keep Worthington until the end of the season has back fired so badly!!
  • If we win the next two games and don't get second it will be pretty gutting. Still hoping results go our way.

Well,  I have been calling out for a comfortable display so that we aren't fearing a last minute equaliser but bloody hell......never thought it would be that comfortable.

So much so I switched over from Sky+ to their usual matchday soccer special for the last 10 mins as I wanted to see how the other teams were getting on. I did switch back in time to see Chuks sending off & the after match celebrations. Just a shame I wasn't there in person, although having just read @AFKABartram"s tale I remembered what a shitty ground it is to get to.

It's hard for Chuks to "walk away" when the guy has hold of his shirt and was kicking him in the shin, he was hell bent on getting Chuks sent off...
Ludicrous decision by the ref that late in the game, and a yellow each was all it needed at best...

Glad Berry is finally getting his flowers. Been great all season and puts in 100% every game, this 'luxury player' line is absolute nonsense.

One thing that hasn't really been discussed all that much because of how good we were is that for maybe the first time since we started being quite good we've managed to put in a really top class performance without Tyreece Campbell being a huge part of it. Previously when he's not performed we've tended to squeak through, and games where we look terrifying it's because of him. Yesterday I barely remember seeing him on the ball, but we were deadly from so many other areas of the pitch. Small crossing from both wings, the midfield overlappng each other and getting into the box, set play dominance. Teams have been doubling up on TC for a while now and it's good that we've shown now that we can absolutely batter the team in 2nd place even when our x-factor player isn't running the show. I'd not like to be another Playoff team watching that.
  • I've been supporting this club for about 60 years and I've seen us play at around 90 different grounds.
Plenty of great days out along with Plenty of not so great days out.
Yesterday's performance considering what was at stake was right up there with the best of them.
    Well said that man…110%
