Is Curtis Fleming an unsung hero ?
He rarely gets a mention was not brought in by NJ but seems the cool calm influence on the bench?26 -
shocking decision by the ref considering the Wycombe kicked him first ….. have to appeal it and how did their player get away
scott free6 -
He has a few houses apparently.19addickted96 said:

Yeah we saw him waiting for a cab outside the ground as we were on our way out. But might make sense if he lives close by.Foxycafc said:someone's said chuks travelled home on his own after the game, can anyone confirm?
IF he did travel home alone, it wouldnt be for proximity!!!0 -
That's confirmed it for me now the ref got it right and Aneke elbowed him twice in the face and then finished him off with an uppercut thanks Ronnie.RonnieMoore said:shocking decision by the ref considering the Wycombe kicked him first ….. have to appeal it and how did their player get away

MuttleyCAFC said:Can those that didn't see it, now see the player we have developing in Karoy. More improvements to come too.
Karoy fitted in well today after replacing Berry and scored a good header from a peach of a left footed cross from Thierry.
Dreamland to be 4 up at Wycombe. He also had another shot on target from a crisp pass from Small.
Prefer to be positive tonight and hope you're correct that his control will improve to go with his closing down, work rate and TBF his short passing was decent today.1 -
Proper away end that today, fantastic28

Nah not yet. my Charlton doesn’t reside in League OneTheHerminator said:Do we have our Charlton back?21 -
Do what Mike? https://www.wwfc.com/news/2025/april/21/mikes-charlton-reaction/ One shot you had in the 86th min... sour twat2

Great performance and never in a million years did I think we'd hammer them 4-0.
Anyone else's mind drifted back to Barnsley away (conceding so late after going ahead right at the end) and Blackpool away (losing a 2 goal lead) and thinking "if only"3 -
Good day out.
Demolition job, very good away end, hugging random blokes I've never spoken to before. Football.
Wrexhams turn next.6 -

Here in NZ, I had a fitful night's sleep worrying about the result.
Dreamt a losing score line at one point.
Woke up disturbed.
Hush-hush KiwiValley, my boy. Just a nightmare13 -
Never realised you were in New Zealand @KiwiValley22

Wow...
What a result to wake up to !!!
This better be real...3 -
What were Wycombe's players appealing for after Berry's goal?0
-
Magnificent result! Shame Wrexham beat Blackpool but if we can go there and turn them over who knows what might happen in the last fixture?1
-
Gillesphey seemed to clip one of their players in the box, he was getting nowhere near the ball/Berry thoughEpsomAddick said:What were Wycombe's players appealing for after Berry's goal?3 -

Yep , that keepers gonna have the game of his life and Wycombe will make it 3rd time lucky against us this season . I’m already fretting our final nause upUboat said:
Agreed. When we were singing ‘4-0 on your big day out’ I said to my daughter that I really didn’t want to hear that being sung back to us at Wembley.mendonca said:Fans will be fans, but I'd prefer not to get cocky and 'want' Wycombe in the play-offs or the final. The Peterborough game should remind us what is possible if you get a bit complacent. In fact, NJ politely told fans not to provide extra motivation to Wycombe in righting a wrong should we happen to play them in the play-offs.
We are the team to be feared. Make no mistake about that. Our methodical approach of not looking further than the next game keeps us grounded.0 -
Great away end, more of the same for Wrexham hopefully

I was part of the holy triumvirate of Charlton Life royalty where I sat, myself ,AFKA and Nicholas , 3 wise old stooges with their families jumping up and down in complete delirium, also thanks to Nicholas for moving around so little shit could see the game.
good day out but it’s never enough , we needed another goal to close the GD on Wycombe 🤪
my heart won’t be able to take the play offs please let us go up . I can’t stand any more league one guffness
saw Chuks waiting in car park and third choice keeper walking away from the ground after the game .

Came to NZ as a baby. Spent 3 years in my mid twenties living in Greenwich though, which is when i picked up my Charlton problem.Gribbo said:Never realised you were in New Zealand @KiwiValley23 -

That was by far the best away win I've seen live. The only other time I've seen us score 4 goals away was in 1997 in a 4-2 win at QPR!5

I say old chap, unless Ronnie is a mate, that did come across as rather twatish.Steven81 said:

Jones and Berry, superb strikes. Godden, fantastic anticipation. Anderson kept the move flowing and sent it wide to Small. Small sent in a great cross and there was Anderson again to head it past the keeper.
Four great goals.0 -
With all the goals, it's easy to overlook the fact that this game was yet ANOTHER clean sheet.6
