If we can get to a 1000 that would be quality9
-
need to sell this out
midweek, far away is where you find the real stock although it's all glory boy followings this end of the season with our form
can't do anymore than sell out what we've been given , here's the real test3 -
Any trains back that night ?0
-
Very poor if we don't sell this out. As I always say, if it was a top prem team in a nothing cup competition we will never win, everyone would be there. This is biggeroohaahmortimer said:need to sell this out

There were no trains back from Manchester after the League Cup game at Old Trafford, it didn't stop 9,000 away fans attending, did it?6 -
Also be disappointed if this doesn’t sell out but suspect it’s contingent on this weekend, if we’re still in the 2nd place picture the numbers will swell, if it goes against us this weekend we won’t sell it our1

Yes you are right as I was in a hotel but much bigger game ..clive said:

A following of a 1,000 to this game would be good by our standards.
Our away numbers this season have been very good, even earlier in the season when reaching the play-offs looked bleak.
This game is far more important than the game at Old Trafford but obviously not as attractive to the less committed away fans.4 -
if any team from a similar distance and size turned up with a 1000 at The Valley at this stage of the season i'd think not all that but for us it's decent2
-
Agreed, although at 655 already with 10 days to go it feels like we should be on course for that as a minimum…clive said:A following of a 1,000 to this game would be good by our standards.

0-3 on Saturday and we may find ourselves back on 5551 -
Wycombe took 318 for a similar trip on Tuesday to Rotherham. We’ll be taking 3-4 times that.oohaahmortimer said:if any team from a similar distance and size turned up with a 1000 at The Valley at this stage of the season i'd think not all that but for us it's decent1 -
I suspect we won’t sell out but it’s been some time since we took 1,000+ for 3hr+ drove away games.1
-
True, but I still see Wycombe as a non league club. They're completely tin pot.AFKABartram said:

Even we're not as small as wycombe , that's a minge of a clubAFKABartram said:

Tbh, with all the doable aways in recent weeks and moving forward, this to some is one step too far, particularly when it is free to view on Sky +.0
-
We as club/fans should try and push this, if we are still in the 2nd spot race numbers should go up, extra coaches might be an option?0

- The Bold Forrester: A 16-minute walk to the Stadium. Bold Forester, Botany Ave, Mansfield NG18 5NG.
- Sir John Cockle: A 21-minute walk from the stadium. Sir John Cockle, Sutton Rd, Mansfield NG18 5EU

Same here. I don't think I can leave work until after 5 which is annoying.Siv_in_Norfolk said:

So near and yet so far for me. One of the closest league grounds to where I live in Newark yet I can't go because I can't get a train back!! So annoying. In case anyone is wondering, I have an eye condition so not allowed to drive which would have been dead easy. Still with my record for away games this season (recently I have been to Brum, Rotherham, Stockport and Peterborough!) you will all be glad I am not going.2
