need to sell this out midweek, far away is where you find the real stock although it's all glory boy followings this end of the season with our form
can't do anymore than sell out what we've been given , here's the real test
Very poor if we don't sell this out. As I always say, if it was a top prem team in a nothing cup competition we will never win, everyone would be there. This is bigger
Also be disappointed if this doesn’t sell out but suspect it’s contingent on this weekend, if we’re still in the 2nd place picture the numbers will swell, if it goes against us this weekend we won’t sell it our
A following of a 1,000 to this game would be good by our standards. Our away numbers this season have been very good, even earlier in the season when reaching the play-offs looked bleak. This game is far more important than the game at Old Trafford but obviously not as attractive to the less committed away fans.
if any team from a similar distance and size turned up with a 1000 at The Valley at this stage of the season i'd think not all that but for us it's decent

Agreed, although at 655 already with 10 days to go it feels like we should be on course for that as a minimum…
0-3 on Saturday and we may find ourselves back on 555

Wycombe took 318 for a similar trip on Tuesday to Rotherham. We’ll be taking 3-4 times that.

True, but I still see Wycombe as a non league club. They're completely tin pot.

Even we're not as small as wycombe , that's a minge of a club

There are pubs available prior to the match in the town centre, which around a 10-minute walk to the ground. The majority of pubs are friendly and welcoming for away supporters.
The Midland Hotel: A 10-minute walk to the Stadium. Station Road, Mansfield, NG18 1LP
The Bold Forrester: A 16-minute walk to the Stadium. Bold Forester, Botany Ave, Mansfield NG18 5NG.
Sir John Cockle: A 21-minute walk from the stadium. Sir John Cockle, Sutton Rd, Mansfield NG18 5EU
So near and yet so far for me. One of the closest league grounds to where I live in Newark yet I can't go because I can't get a train back!! So annoying. In case anyone is wondering, I have an eye condition so not allowed to drive which would have been dead easy. Still with my record for away games this season (recently I have been to Brum, Rotherham, Stockport and Peterborough!) you will all be glad I am not going.

There were no trains back from Manchester after the League Cup game at Old Trafford, it didn't stop 9,000 away fans attending, did it?
