Regardless of what project was being discussed, the point he was making was about the fans' overall perception of the club.

I've never said the women's game wasn't deserving of being spoken about in order to grow the game. Just that there's no need to shoehorn it in out of context unnecessarily.

Just like you didn't need to shoehorn in your description of an insufferable sounding Nigel stood in his kitchen eating breakfast, but there you go.

  • Speaking of Brazil and Talksport, did you hear the run in he had with newsreader shebahn Aherne this morning?
She had a similar spat with Jeff Stelling last week.
She makes my teeth itch that woman. Proper anti-English as well. She was getting some serious snipes in during the Euros but because it was about 5 in the morning I doubt many heard them.
I've got to the point that whenever I hear her I switch channels.
Really opened a non- binary can of worms with this one didn't I!
  • anyway, what has their relationship been like since this argument? Still a bit strained ?

*breathes out* I shake my head wearily.

It wasn't shoehorned it was literally part of the conversation regarding the project, if anything assuming you are correct regarding Alan Brazil's intentions (which is a big assumption) he was shoehorning the fans perception of the women's game.

Talking about shoehorns I own 4 different shoehorns because i have many different types of shoes - penny loafers, sneakers, cuban heels etc and your arguments are more worn than the soles of my eldest pair.

Doubt it, it's their job to argue and cause controversy so that people call in. Probably get on fine when the mics are off.

laughing at you, not with you
Yes but fortunately for me I don't count the opinions of people I don't respect as being legitimate. Though everyone who is laughing with me and likes my posts I very conveniently respect.

As you full well know I am but a humble man of the people, as long as those people agree with me and are at least university educated.

Well that’s the end of that then - was mildly amusing
  • Just had to look outside, was wandering whether i was on on the same planet as everyone else.
How far did you wander before you realised you weren't?

Most of the world don't give a flying fuck what you or I think about anything.
