I can see why 'Boro were happy to let Gilbert leave......the signed Iheanacho.

Anyone know what Cawley has tweeted?9

Rich has no idea if we are done or not
Just tweeted0 -
Fun on this thread this evening. Should have kept Taylor, otherwise an okay Winter transfer saga imo.

I dont care if it doesnt go ahead or not... I mean it doesnt matter if its not a secret, as no other club can sneak in and sign him
Unless their recruitment team also have a fetish for crocked and bit part players.
January window has been more about not selling our jewels. Is that showing ambition?
I don't believe hanging on to players is ambitious, as they're under contract. Signing Lloyd Jones was a massive positive, fair play. But respectfully, as a Charlton fan, I have much higher hopes than us competing with Wycombe for the signature of a player already on our books.
I don't care about any players that left, they're all pants (excluding Terry Taylor), fair play for managing to get rid. That still doesn't change the fact those are all signings sanctioned by the same board.
Let's see who this last player is anyway, could change the field.
As for ambition, I don't see it. We are arguably the second biggest club in League One behind Brum. The money men had the opportunity to spend before the big caps come in next year and didn't. A clear message that the losses are either being capped at £8m or reduced.

Gone a bit quiet for my liking.0

No more deals for #cafc.

Go to bed. Go out. Just whatever you do, to sort of quote Neil Warnock, do it with discipline.1 -

Edit.
Seen the tweet from Cawley so amended my post.
Once again our transfer window is pretty meh. 2 players in ON LOAN, both not stand outs and not been playing week in week out so aren't "wanted" iykwim. 8 players out with a few probably on high wages seeing as they were ex Luton.
No cover for TC and unless Gilbert turns out to be a consistent starter & is a playmaker then we are still short in the creativity department.
Overall 4/10. This window was more for the money men than for the fans.4 -
That's piss poor then, the cover we desperately needed for Small/Campbell wasn't brought in3
-
Underwhelmed.3
-
It’s been a decent window unblocking the squad with players that simply were not playing for the team and bringing in players that will be playing … also gives one or two young players a chance to move forward6
-
Oh well... thats the squad for the season... Lets hope it can either deliver, or get us as close as possible2
-
Needed a winger, disappointing1
-
Now it has fallen through. Anybody want to spill the beans on who we missed out on?4
-
Disappointed we didn't get the last attacking piece across the line. Maybe we will have to see a bit more of Dixon in cameos but I'd have liked some experience or a bit of a gamble like Tovide1
